Late post. This was about 8 months ago. Stopped here for lunch with my parents when they were visiting. According to them, NC is hot lol. Although, it was at the time. Drinks were on point and the food was delicious. Loved every bite! Welcoming atmosphere and spacious seating. Highly recommend if you're in the FAY downtown area.

We were so excited to have the opportunity to make reservations for a Sunday brunch. Our reservations for 4 were at noon. We showed a few minutes early but there was some confusion with the customers in line which prevented us from being seated at noon. It appeared they were short staffed. The four of us got a table upstairs and jumped right into the drink options which were delayed at the bar as they were backed up and came to the table in plastic cups as they ran out of clean wine glasses. The dining area didn’t appear to have an excess of people so it was soon evident they were short staffed in every department. Our breakfast meals came to the table 90 minutes after we ordered. When we got the food it was delicious. Our wait staff said they were turning away customers at the door and running out of food. What a tough position to be in. I was very pleased with the hot delicious food and I was catching up with the girls so I didn’t mind the wait but had my situation been different I would have been upset. I still tipped well as it was not the wait staff fault. I hope things get better soon. I love Huske!

Went as a party of 9.... Reservations were at 1130 for brunch and was seated at about 1145..... Before the table was ready we went to the bar and only two others were there. It took 10 minutes for the bartender to take our order. When we got to our table our server was Rob and he was AMAZING. very attentive and up beat!! The wait for everything was long but I'm sure it was because he was stretched thin. I ordered the salmon Benedict. The menu said fried egg and it came out with a poached egg. I think they need to change the wording of the type of egg comes on the Benedict. The food was ok, kind of bland but not too bad. The potatoes that came with it was good. Had a regular mimosa and the peach mimosa and it was tasty. The party was supposed to have tablecloths and balloons and none were there.

I’m torn…we had mostly good drinks, not good food, and Karaoke entertainment. The place is a dive bar in fancy clothes. Everything looks good, but isn’t. When asked, it was suggested that we try the burnt tips and the sauce because it was “created” by the kitchen manager. Unless that kitchen is managed by Sweet Baby Ray himself, the sauce was not house made and was very clearly an undoctored, mass produced, commercial sauce…a far cry from what was described. The food was aggressively average, at best. I wasn’t expecting meat atop meat when I ordered the “BBQ Burnt Tips Burger,” but I was served a sad burger patty topped with cubes of meat drowning in supermarket BBQ sauce. The shrimp is not prepared or breaded in house, only fried there. I will not return for food, especially when there are several places within walking distance to try. The drinks were ok. There was a fair selection of microbrews, about ten hand crafted cocktails, and an entire menu dedicated to Stella Rosa wines. I’m not sure why Stella Rosa has been selected to be the feature of the bar.

Came here specifically because it was dog friendly. Located right in downtown, visited on a Sunday about 1. I was a little disappointed because I didn't realize that I would be limited to the brunch menu. The waiter was very friendly and obviously loved dogs. The food was very good, we decided on the Brunch burger and classic burger. My only negatives would be that the restroom was dark and not updated at all, as well as we ended up waiting 10-15 minutes before going inside to flag someone down for the bill.
