King Burrito

The food is really good, especially for (semi) fast food. My biggest complaint is no selection of diet drinks (only diet Pepsi) and they didn't have unsweet tea on my last visit. Prices are high for fast food, which I get that the quality is better, but then they don't provide chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurants.

As ya’ll know from previous reviews, I love Mexican food and the quest for really good burrito places is never-ending. Imagine my excitement to see King Burrito; it did not disappoint. Mrs. Flip Out was her usual skeptical self as she occasionally still doubts my ability to choose amazing Mexican restaurants. I ordered the Alambra burrito with asada and a chili sauce. Mrs. Flip Out had the King burrito with asada. We ordered the kids meat, rice, and bean plate. First off, the burritos were HUGE, and you’ll notice I placed a fork next to it for perspective. Even the kids plate was generously portioned. Mrs. Flip Out said this was the best place we have eaten on this trip, and she really enjoyed her burrito. I really enjoyed my burrito as well, and the spiciest salsa they had was my favorite. The combination of flavors with the meat and sauces was really good. Neither of us came close to finishing but it was very delicious food. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely return.

Where has this place been? It's awesome and I need one in my town. It's fast food speed with restuarant quality. I got the grilled chicken over rice and cheese, the chicken it truelly grilled, not just steamed like other places, so perfect texture and flavor. The flautas my husband got had nice crispy ends we always enjoy just don't always get at some restaurants. I really thought our friends were overhyped this place but it exceeded that! And then we finished off by sharring a slice of delicious Tres Leche cake. 😁
