Tugboat Fish & Chips

Stopped in for a quick bite and comparison and must say, it was very good. Light batter on the fish and prawns and the hush puppies were moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The husband/wife team and very sweet but hard to understand their broken English but again, they were willing to help out any way they could. We will definitely be back but need a break from everything being fried! Cheers!!

The service is very good. The portions are good and the fish is fresh. They have a great selection of bottled drinks and viniger on the tables. They bring you chilled squeeze bottles of tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, and ketsup to your table with your meal. I wish they didn't charge to use a debit card though. I like the fish and prawns meal.

I came here on a Tuesday to try the fish tacos. It's a small place. I walked in and was greeted right away. As I looked over the menu. I decided to try nates fish tacos. They sounded so good. The tacos come in flour tortillas...not corn. That was different. I do prefer corn over flour for sure...but they were still good. They are packed with fish pieces that were fried. Not one whole piece. It also comes with slaw and a spicy sauce on top. There are French fries under the tacos and a lemon wedge. You can get two tacos for 6.49 and 3 tacos for 8.49...this is only on Tuesday. They also sell many other items such as clam chowder...lumpia...fish and clams...prawns..oysters and chicken among others. Their tartar sauce is so good. If your looking for some really good fish tacos or fried food...give this place a try.

A great little hole in the wall for fresh fried food and a nice little selection of beer. They don’t cheap out on the fries or their batter, and the guy recommended the larger shrimp dish to me that was a better value. So excellent customer service, definitely would recommend, it is a little pricey but absolutely worth it
