I saved my first visit to celebrate a special occasion with a loved one. The experience was lovely and delicious. A small intimate environment with about 10 tables, the pace was perfect and the ambiance cheerful. We had memorable dinner that was well thought out and executed. Complimentary "dishes" between courses help achieve a seemless transition from beginning to end. The associates they employ are on top of everything throughout, not a missed step, professional and engaging. Everything we ordered was absolutely brilliant. An extraordinary harmony of flavors and scents. This is a special place, add it to the bucket list.
Best food I’ve ever had in my life, my hobby is going to as many nice restaurants as I can. This puts Berns steakhouse in the dust. The bill is usually around 120 with tip per person.
10 course valentine dinner was amazing! Nice relaxing atmosphere and great dining experience. We got to choose our starter, salad, main course and dessert. All dishes were made to perfection with some surprising tastes and combinations. A must visit!
The food was phenomenal - but be aware - MAKE RESERVATIONS! It's a very small space inside, but certainly worth the wait to get a reservation. My lamb was delicious, the palate cleanser was fantastic (spicy hot chocolate!), and my husband loved everything he ate!
Amazing restaurant! Super tiny. Maybe 10 tables! Perfect for a romantic dinner. No big tables. Mostly couples. Super quiet, refined, elegant, posh. Ridiculously good French food in one of the best settings ever. Three super efficient waiters! The food of Chef Christopher and his sou chef is absolutely incredible. You will want to go here for special occasions. The wine list is phenomenal. Very attentive staff. Zack was great! Distinctive food. Unique dishes. Able to accommodate for gluten allergies. Great 20 year Grandfather port after dinner. Dessert was divine. Fresh made desserts. Mulled pear cider as an intermezzo was amazing!

We've visited Dunedin several times and finally decided to treat ourselves to the Black Pearl. Such a good decision. We may need to be treated every time we come back.
Our server, Zach, was exceptional - great suggestions and smooth service. Wine list and menu is excellent.
Only con was that we didn't have enough room for dessert when we were done. But more reason to return.

I think this is the best restaurant in Tampa Bay. Both the food and service are outstanding. We make it a once a quarter trip from Tampa to experience the Black Pearl. They stand out in that first the staff is long-term and highly professional. They know how to execute fine dining. The food is prepared by their chef who has been with them over 15 years. The food is french and continental, all very fresh and gourmet. They have just 12 tables, so you will have a very personalized experience. Go to the Black Pearl for the best in Tampa Bay!
From the moment we walked in we were impressed! Our server Zach was fantastic, the food was some of the best ever, and the whole experience was just amazing. Well done! The duckling dish was even better than it sounded! Amazing date night
