We've been looking for a decent Italian restaurant in Denver and found an outstanding one in The Cherry Tomato. From its friendly service to the delicious food, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. I highly recommend the uniquely prepared calamari appetizer and the Fruitte di Mare for the entree. ****
This was my first time here and I came with a party that kept growing in number. The staff was extremely accommodating. The service throughout was superb. While our server knew some of our party from past visits, he was attentive to all.
The food was outstanding! I had eggplant Parmesan and caprese salad. Delicious! And the cheesecake - so good!
I will definitely go back.
We came to this place due to a YouTubers recommendation, the food was absolutely amazing, I mean real authentic Italian food, you can tell the freshness coming out of the food on every single ingredient. I mention to one of my servers, Dennis that we were here from Palm Beach Florida and he took the time to make a little list for me to places to visit and sightseeing, I thought this was very sweet and kind. If we are back in Denver, we will definitely be coming back to this here.
Incredibly affordable for the service and food.
Everything was so perfect. We had the seafood ravioli and the chicken rigatoni. They were both sooo good. Mark was our bartender and server, he was the best! He knew so much about the menu and the drinks so it definitely made for a good first time. Can’t wait to come back!
Delightful little neighborhood restaurant with great food at reasonable prices. They had decently sized portions, a fantastic basil gimlet, and very friendly staff. I foresee this being my local Italian spot from here on out.
I think they were looking at me funny because I think I was licking the plate. The best Italian food I’ve had since way back when. Be sure to get an order of that yummy bread then get you a little olive oil and vinegar with the crushed garlic and Parmesan for dipping. We sat at the bar and was served by Daniel, the Bartender. I have to note that the server/bus was on point with getting the plates out and bringing em back in and refilling waters and drinks. The atmosphere was laid back, casual, and a happening place.
When I want Italian food, this is what I want.
Is it Michelin star worthy? Heck no. Is it the newest, trendiest restaurant in town? Definitely not.
Is it delicious and does it feel like your neighborhood Italian joint with great prices and a great vibe?
Absolutely yes.

This place is splendid. Kind staff, excellent food, and cute atmosphere. The dirty martini and fettuccini Alfredo was *chefs kiss*.
Took my fam here, and they quickly accommodated our group size by switching around tables and chairs.
