Denny's

This meal was definitely a combination I’ve never had before lol. I ordered the Southwestern Benny Breakfast. It’s basically like a spicy egg and salsa meal on muffins. It’s a very different type of breakfast I must say! I like the spice kick in the flavoring and the buttery pancakes to compliment it. Nice combination. Never know what you’ll like until you try!

DON'T GO!!! Our orders were wong, we were never even asked for a refill on our coffee or water. We got coffee with cream and nothing to stir our coffe with until our food came. Even at that point, we had to ask for silverware...I mean plasticware. They wont even give you a napkin other than the tiny, thin little piece of tissue that comes in the plasticware wrapper. To top it all off, I paid extra for avocado slices. Check out the photo to see what they gave me...AND CHARGED ME FOR! This avocado was rotten! Why would you even serve this to someone?

Do not work at this place! They will run you down into the mud. Employees steal from the company the and the company steals from you. As a customer , the employees take Your money and don’t ring up the food so you never know where your money is going. As an employee, I was told I was receiving one wage and was receiving 2$ less for months without knowing because of what I was being told and not having access to an app that I found out I should’ve had access to the entire time. The place has such a negative energy and reputation. Business has slowed down majority due to the 51 score they received because the place is filthy and no one cares. The only reason they scored a 91 on the retry was because they knew when the inspector was coming. They never have two thing at the same time, burger , no fries. Sausage, no bacon, pancakes, no bread. Wouldn’t even waste my time or money there. And DEFINITELY DONT APPLY!

This Denny’s seemed to follow the trend that the company has right now of having a pretty bad shortage of employees. The location wasn’t the cleanest that I’ve seen, but being short on staff in a busy city like this would only make that make sense. What didn’t make total sense was the absolute positivity of the waitress we had this morning. Now I’m not entirely sure if she was supposed to be a waitress. Due to the short staff, she pretty much was doing everything. She greeted, hosted, seated, took orders, served, and even helped with a little bit of food. And she was the only one waitressing. Honestly I’ve never been more impressed by someone that worked in the food industry, because not only did she do everything, but she was one of the most pleasant servers I’ve ever witnessed anywhere, and was extremely attentive to everyone there. Despite the short staff, the food came out relatively quickly and was exactly what you’d expect from a Denny’s. Overall, the staff can’t help that they’re shorthanded, but the way they’ve responded to it was nothing short of amazing this morning.

Went in today and it was very stuffy... My hash browns looked like they rushed to cook it... Top part was little browned but inside looked under cooked still white white looking. Menu said three eggs must be very small three eggs. The light over the table could had used some love it was dust all over it. After getting served had to wait another 5-8 min for the toast. I received better service when they were under staffed then I did today. Lady at counter was filling drink order and said give me few minutes to ring me up.. I waited but dang waiting to pay should not been in issue.. I waited for my food and drinks they could had waited like I did for my toast.
