We always stop here when our travels take us by Columbus... kind of a twist on home cooking, basic fare that isn't the plane Jane standard. Having eaten around the world, I have pretty high standards, so things really have to wow me to get five stars. 4 stars, to me, is a good meal. I usually get the special, and having eaten here almost a dozen times has yet to disappoint.

Party of 6 today celebrating my grandmother's 89th birthday! We were seated, greeted and ordered quickly even though it was busy for a late lunch time. Our waiter was quick, nice and very accommodating. We brought a cake inside so it wouldn't be in the heat of the car, and even though we were taking it to a park to eat later the waiter offered to refrigerate it. Every single person thoroughly enjoyed the food, and our crowd can be picky! Highlights were the Cuban, crab cake sandwich, mushroom burger and delicious sweet potato fries! Art work and decor is unique and interesting. The bar and music area looks line it would be fun for evenings especially. Several areas are big enough for special events. I've noticed this restaurant many times driving through the area and always loomed intriguing. I'm so glad we finally made the time to try it! We will certainly be back again!

The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. They're really so sweet. I'll definitely be back. Soup and chicken tenders were so good. I highly recommend them. The only thing to note is that it isn't a very quiet place. It can get a bit loud so take that into mind if you prefer a very calm, quiet lunch. There are always a lot of people talking and it sort of echoes.

First time here, and will definitely return. We had breakfast. I had the two egg sausage omelet, not too big but not too small, vs most of the time I’m over eating and uncomfortably full. The biscuit was good. Home fries were ok, cubed and crisp.vs I prefer sliced and sautéd. The coffee, well let’s just say you come for the food. The server was excellent, kept checking on us if we needed anything and to make sure everything was good. Over all it is a 9 out of 10 star.

Went for lunch and the food was great! The atmosphere is super cool. They way they have it set up for music, I know it has to have great sound, something many places don't have. It also looks like they have garage doors that open up to make it even better. Follow them on IG because they post the daily specials. If you're going to go on a Saturday morning, I suggest stopping by the farmers market before. Thumbs up 👍🏼

Don't let the outside discourage you from trying this diamond in the rough. Decent beer selection for those looking for craft drafts. Food selections range from salads, burgers, fish, steak... something for everyone. Friendly, quick service with a smile. Check the website for local musical artists. I've visited this restaurant twice in one week. First visit, my husband had the menu ribeye, and I had the special scallops on zucchini fritters. Both were excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes are the best I've ever tasted. Second visit, my husband had the Caitlyn Burger, and I had the pasta. Can't rave enough about this place.

Delicious food with a local focus. A nice variety on the menu in cost and food. Beer & wine are your drink options. We enjoyed the Caprese Salad and the Scallops with Corn Cakes. Had wonderful service. Loved the live music on Saturday. Lot of local love going on here. Visitors welcomed too!

Stopped in here for dinner. The outside was a little different than most restaurants. The inside was nice and comfy, and clean. Was seated right away, it was later on a Wednesday so they were not crowded. Had a nice bottle of wine and ordered the crab cake sandwich. I enjoyed it, the toppings were fresh, and the crab cake was spot on. I had my service dog with me and the chef offered to brought out some bacon for him. Props to the chef, for the awesome food and taking the time to make some bacon for the dog. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will be back.

Great spot not too far off the highway. Wonderful staff. Good food. I had a salad to start. It was super fresh. I also had shrimp and grits on special. It needed some hot sauce and salt but otherwise was very good. The tomatoes in it had a very good flavor. It's not a restaurant I'm going to have to stop at every time I come through, but it was good and I would definitely eat there again.

This place...it looks terrible outside lol.. but don't let that fool you because I'm serious, this was the best food on our week long vacation stemming mostly from Myrtle Beach where we ate at a lot of nice places (seemingly). This place we found on accident. The inside is beautiful and the food is serious, it's chef serious, it's so serious that I didn't understand most of the ingredients. I said serious alot but that's only because this place should be in New York or something, not in historical Columbus NC. Don't judge a book by its cover, you need to seek this place out if you're serious about your dining. I'd give it 6 stars 🌟. I'm from Indiana and in no way do I know anyone here or endorse this place aside from objective experience. Go here. The owner is a farmer so..everything is fresh. You wouldn't expect such an intricate menu from a farmer, you'd expect basic food but you'd be perfectly wrong. This is by far one of my favorite places and I hope it never ends.
