Smokey Bones Columbus

Wow! Today was my first visit to a Smoky Bones and it did not disappoint! 🙌🏻 I had the boneless wings with teriyaki sauce, fireside corn, and steamed broccoli! It was all good! I tasted the KC BBQ Sauce and 👏🏻 people 👏🏻! It was worth the visit for the sauce! The service was great also. It was $20 tip and all for my meal. I’m including pics of the meals other people in our party had including two kid’s meals.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times this week and ate a different entree each time. Each visit has been absolutely amazing!! The food quality is exquisite, the service is impeccable, and the whole facility is warm and welcoming! I absolutely love the pretzel bones with the nice warm cheese! The freshly fried pickles, and the corn bread with the honey pecan butter!! I would recommend getting the Texas Style Beef brisket platter, Brisket stuffed grilled cheese, or my personal favorite... the Smoke house Mac and cheese with Brisket! They are all amazing and all leave me very satisfied!! Also the hot bag o' donuts are to die for!! They come with raspberry and chocolate to dip in and they are a most have!! Thank you for being such an amazing server Bailey!!! I can not wait to eat here again!!

Please see attached full menu and a snapshot of their bar for reference. Overall, the epitome of mediocrity. The workers had some semblance of attentiveness while I sat at the bar, it was more apparent that they would rather talk amongst themselves versus taking our orders etc. The food sat in the window under the salamander long enough for the bread on my sandwich to be re-toasted after it over reached terminal saturation from the mayo, so I guess that’s a win? For context it was just me and my wife at the bar, which made it harder for me to explain the whereabouts of the bartender. We placed orders for 4 items, they were 2/4, but realistically you cant mess up a salad in my opinion. Food quality: 4/10 Attentiveness 5/10 Food accuracy: 5/10 Cleanliness: 7/10

This was a wonderful place!! Garrett was our waiter and he was FANTASTIC! I had never been before and asked what he would recommend, he went above and beyond and gave me a recommendation from each section and great detail on the highlights of the menu. It got me so excited for our meal and made me feel like I had a way better understanding of the menu. The food was fantastic but what really made my experience was Garrett!

The lady with salt/pepper hair is the WORST WAITRESS OF ALL TIME!! Every time we would ask for something she would hurry away without completing the conversation. The place wasn’t packed so I don’t know how you have time to socialize with fellow employees and take forever to bring drinks and serve over cooked food. Last but not least she had the nerve to check my water level in my glass after I asked for refills for my husband and I!!!!!! She looked at our glasses and asked “for you both?” With a puzzled smirk on her face. Never once gave us a water refill or ask the entire time. We didn’t know this lady but she seemed like her goal was to ruin our night. My sweet generous husband gave her a 2.00$ tip regardless of her trash service. Never dining here again. Btw the food is usually better too. My sandwich bread was stale, overcooked bacon and hardly any veggies. And the green bean casserole looked nothing like advertised.

My first time in this restaurant and my first time in Columbus, and I'm going to explain why I don't give it a 5, a group of 7 arrived at the restaurant and the girl at the entrance began to pass everyone who arrived even though there were large tables empty, he told us he was following the manager's orders, but when we called the manager they immediately attended us and the food was very exquisite, despite this I recommend it, the incompetence of a worker cannot determine the quality of this, but I suggest that for this position as important choose someone nicer, that first person you see is the face of the restaurant, thanks to the manager for his attention, and even so when I return to ohio I plan to return there
