El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant

This is a wonderful restaurant. My door dasher forgot my food-only brought my drink. The restaurant and I both tried to contact him before he arrived with no luck. He refused to go back for the food and Door Dash wouldn’t send a new dasher. El Vaquero had their employee deliver my food and he brought me an extra drink. They continue to impress me with food and service!

I had the fish tacos and mango margarita. They were out of the only IPA they sell. But I am not sure if the waiter understood because I asked if they carried an IPA, he said no. Later after I looked at the menu I asked if they were out of the one on the menu, he looked confused, so I pointed at it on the menu, he looked more confused, so I gave up. It was more than a language barrier, he seemed like he thought he was in a different restaurant. He also said they only sold the seasonal beer in 22oz glasses. He was not rude, just very out of sorts.

Delightful atmosphere that provides family friendly dining, indoor and outdoor, and a hightop bar option for adults. The entire staff is attentive and accommodating. The food is appropriately priced for the quality, which is great for the cuisine style, and pairs quite well with a tequila inspired drink. Take out is a great option for this location.

Nice location with friendly staff. I usually get the taco salads that come with the fired shell…super tasty. I love their nachos and tacos too. Margaritas are great and the bar is large and well equipped. Nice large patio with outside bar for use during nice weather. Prices have gone up but still my go to for Mexican-American food.

The food was outstanding and brought out piping hot and with a minimal wait and the handmade drinks were mark on. The waiting greeters, staff and food servers were awesome, very polite and truly customer centric. The restaurant is always clean, restroom was very clean as well. The food was very delicious and serving sizes were very good for the prices! A great value in even times where eating out is becoming an option and less of a whim. I highly recommend visiting for fantastic authentic Mexican food!
