I had my first date with the boyfriend here (his choice. Great taste. Obviously). When the favorite cousin was in town from CA to vet him for acceptance by the family, we took her here.
The food was absolutely amazing. Same as it was on our first date. The wines were spectacular. Our server Boris was just amazing. Made sure our glasses were topped off. Gave his recommendations for main course and desserts (which were 100% accurate).
Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I dont even like red meat and the steaks here are things of dreams.
Will be a returning customer for a long time to come.
Great service, excellent food. I recommend you do the Cheftable. It is worth every penny plus the tip.
Love the wine and the food!!! The risotto appetizer was amazing! It's not worth sharing, I want all of them to myself. The sauce was an authentic tomatoe with roasted red pepper accent! Amazing!
Best In The Balto-D.C. Area!. Without a doubt, Aida is the best restaurant in the Baltimore-D.C. area! The food is amazing - thanks to Sean and Lisa - the service is superior, and the new place is awesome. Joe and Mary make you feel like you are part of the family. I have been patronizing Aida Bistro for 8 of their 9 years - and it just gets better and better.
Nice special occasion spot!. I've been there several times, for lunch and dinner. Unique menu items. Lunch was light but satisfying. For dinner, their pasta is just amazing. Tender and perfectly cooked. Nice wine selection.
I would not recommend this menu for holidays, as I was not impressed with the prix-fixed options - either in selection, or in portion size. It was much more pleasant to eat here during normal hours.
Worth the price. We visited for my birthday and found the location quite easily. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about both the menu and wine pairings. Yes, it was pricey, but you pay for what you get. Food was cooked to perfection. We love the fact that the food was from local farmers, not shipped from across the country.
We'll be back for more!
Good food, but expensive & slow service. The food is good, but rather expensive. You can easily expect to spend at least $100 for two people. Their wine list is great, but I was not impressed by our server's total inability to recommend a wine to go with our food. Also, the service was SLOW SLOW SLOW. We were there on a Tuesday night and the place was far from crowded, and it seemed we often had to wait about 10 minutes between finishing one course and the arrival of the next one. I would go back again just because of the food.
AIDA is serious about wine and food, a passion that is apparent not only in the warm and friendly atmosphere, but also in what arrives in front of you both on a plate and in a wine glass.
The Barbera family runs this Italian and Mediterranean outpost in an unlikely office park setting. Once you're inside, the pleasant atmosphere and seasonal menus of small plates and entrees make for a very enjoyable exp
