Smith’s has the best cheesesteak subs around and their onion rings are to die for. Chris and his staff are very friendly and attentive to their patrons. If you haven’t been to Smith’s, I highly recommend it!

Always amazing food. Service is fast & friendly. They definitely care about their customers. Really awesome prices on subs. Definitely worth the drive over to Columbia if you're not local.
Hands down the best steak sandwiches anywhere. Not only do they taste great, but the prices are reasonable and the sizes are good, too.
Just keep one thing in mind, this is a cash only place; they do not accept credit or debit cards.
Been coming here since I was a kid & I always loved their cheese steak subs! I get mine with no onion & it's great to consistently get my order right! My fam likes their regular subs & cheeseburger subs. Can't beat their prices either!
Known for fabulous cheese steaks and chicken cheese steaks. Very, Very good. Great selection of fresh and fried items, all great. The outside decks are fabulous. Most of the staff are young, eager and friendly. The beer is cold, and the general atmosphere is of an old hotel, which it is, which is a great atmosphere. They used to service local industries, so ask about their history if you're into that. Inexpensive, great quality and a great local feel with friendly people.
Jamie is our fav server. You will not have a crummy time, a must-visit place. They do huge beer and food takeout biz. Really great food and reasonably priced.
Had the cheesesteak and onion rings with ranch and a root beer. The service was great with the bartender/server running everything (shorthanded). Didn't catch her name, but wonderful. Sat outside, beautiful day. Great experience for 1st time here. Everyone there agreed as far as I could tell.
Stopped here to get something to eat on a Wednesday night. 1st time I was here in 25 plus years. The place was not busy at all. The waitress was friendly and professional. Service was fast. The beer was good. Ordered the cheesesteak. The large is very large. This is not a traditional Philly Cheesesteak. It was not bad just different. Thought it was odd they charge extra for cheese on a cheesesteak.
when entering the restaurant the waitress told us there is a long than normal wait. The wait was worth it. Food was hot and good, with large portions. The wait seemed short with the good humor of the staff. Enjoyed the atmosphere and social connection.
Our retirement group stopped by on Friday last week for lunch. We all ordered the steak sandwiches with various toppings. Ok! The fries were way undercooked! No good! Service was fine.
My wife and I ordered 2 cheese steak sandwiches for lunch. The first time I ever ordered from there. Both sandwiches were very good. The roll was also pretty good. The ONLY thing that I would have liked different is the sandwich being cut. I ordered a large for myself. The sandwich is about 18" and we took them to the park to eat. It's virtually impossible to eat an 18" sandwich without it being cut. If the sandwich would've been cut, I would have given 5 stars!!
For the last 30+ years this has been the best place for cheesesteaks and cheeseburger subs in Lancaster county... and likely a bigger area than that. Business now being handed down to 2nd generation. As of nov1st '17 they take credit cards!!! I was shocked. Prices are amazingly low for the sizes. Last time I was there I met the owner. Very down to earth guy.
The sandwiches are the best in the county. I drive 1 hour round trip for carryout at this place. Their deck is also nice in the summer. The frozen drinks are very good.
Update: Still the best. It's all about the bread and onions and they hit both marks.
