Every Flying Saucer I've been to has consistently had excellent service and food, and of course their BEER selection!!! This one is no different.

What a wonderful place to have a drink! Such a relaxed atmosphere, the wait staff was super friendly, and it's a wonderful place to unwind and have a conversation. I think the best thing was the music - fantastic selection, and it was just loud enough to drown out the noise of anyone around us but we were able to have a conversation in our every day voices. Can't wait to go back!

Good food, excellent beer selection, and every bartender I've had there has been friendly and engaging. They also have various good beer deals on week nights. Generally great atmosphere. One of the best bars in Columbia.

A good selection of beer and fairly good food. Ive been to other flying saucers, and while they were better than this one I still enjoyed visiting. We didnt have any issues with service or beers being out when we were there. Maybe because it was early on saturday and it wasnt busy yet. They had a lot of good local beers to try, I did a build-your-own flight series of SC/NC beers. Relatively decent selection in bottles too. My wife got the burger with the fried egg (I forget the name) with the german potato salad. Both were quite good. I got the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it was also quite good. Ive had better food in other places in columbia, but you would be hard pressed to find a better beer selection.

Great atmosphere and selection.. 81 beers on tap and almost 200 bottles of great craft beer. The food is great and there is a pretty good variety of items to choose from. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable which makes it easy to relax with friends and meet new ones. During the warm days the large patio is the place to be.

Enjoyable. The beer selection on tap here is impressive and the beer tastes fresh. The food was decent. I got the beer brauts. It was good enough that I'd like to come back and try something else. That being said, this place is not going to draw you in because of their culinary skills, you come for the beer and you stay for the food. That works for me.
