Shortwave Coffee

What an amazing experience we had at Shortwave Coffee. The atmosphere the coffee and the staff were wonderful. Lindsay created me a custom, one of a kind teddy bear Cortada. OMG it tasted even better than it looked if you can believe that! Thank you Lindsay and Caroline for your excellent service and making us feel so welcome in your beautiful city. ❤️❤️☕️☕️

Bought a bag of whole beans here, the 5x5 blend, and it was awesome the whole way through. Usually a bag "dies out" like a week in to opening it but this stuff continued to pull amazing shots the whole time (photo attached). They also offered a free drink with the purchase of a bag which would be awesome to capitalize on if I lived in the area. It's a cool experience walking into the alley and then descending down into the shop, and it's deceivingly big in there. The people on there were very helpful and someone was just vibin roasting fresh beans, adding to the chill yet industrial ambiance.

Shortwave is my personal favorite coffee shop in Columbia. I love that you can have two different places to go and still get the same great lattes/drip coffees/cold brew etc.The alley offers a more cozy, underground feel and the bakery (located on 9th) offers more of an upscale, modern experience. Either way, you can’t go wrong—both locations have friendly baristas and great coffee!

Shortwave is one of the best coffee shops in town. I always love getting either a vanilla chai or a cardamom drink. Very very tasty and delicious. You can definitely taste the excellent quality In the drinks unlike other local coffee shops around town. The pastries 🍰 are amazing too! The coffee drinks are well worth the price you pay and is consistent most of the time I go. Thanks for the excellent coffee and service shortwave!
