The food is absolutely π― . 10 out of 10. The waiters very friendly. He also gave us free chefs π¨βπ³ orders of the day. Tofu deep fire π₯ with onion π°. Overall clean π nice and organized. Will be back next time in town. If you live, here you need to βοΈ yourself.
Would give 5 stars but, it's a little pricey. The green tea cheesecake was really good but very very small. The food was good as well and they have LOTS of options for cooked sushi, uncooked, & non sushi menu items. I enjoyed how much variety they have. If you don't love sushi, there are sooo many other options for you, which is really nice. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely be returning and trying something different but if you're only going for sushi, it is a bit on the high end price wise in my opinion.
Also we went around lunchtime on a Monday and because it's so close to Peterson, there were a lot of service members there which made it EXTREMELY loud. Couldn't hear any music just constant loud chattering. Not a big deal, just worth mentioning.

Absolutely FANTASTIC and authentic Japanese restaurant!!!! We had to move out of the area and we have NEVER experienced Japanese food as delicious as Osaeβs!!! I swear we dream about this food. On occasion, we drive 2 hours to Springs area to get this top quality food. My bf met the owner, who was very friendly. Watch out. This food is addictive!
This place definitely was different on Japanese food and it was sexy like twister the board game! This prices were a bit too high and it would be nice to see them come down because I would be there weekly instead of once a month! If they had cocktails an draft beer this would be the go to! Anyways we all know perfect is very hard to come by! Beautiful staff an wonderful service!
Food was absolutely delicious, service was great, atmosphere was nice but so so loud. Highly recommend putting some sound absorbing panels up in the rafters so customers can have better conversations without raising their voices over all the other customers.
Delicious Vegetarian Ramen π the noodles are INCREDIBLE! We tried the miso broth and soy broth ramen bowl and they were both amazing! The sweet potato roll π± is really good too. The service was also great. Overall wonderful experience! Thank you Osae!
I have watched this spot change from one restaurant that was here forever to other restaurants that failed horribly quickly... the owner of osei is a very nice gentleman he's very friendly and personable and make sure that everything is up to par daily. This restaurant has been in this location now for a few years and I have been known to order atheist once a week since I worked at the Quickway for 10+years. This is some of the BEST in town!! The Mongolian beef is the best especially when you ask for extra spicy!!!!
Finally tried out Osae on this windy, chilly day & it did not dissapoint π€€
I had the spicy miso tonkatsu with grilled Chasu, Extra spicy πΆοΈπ₯The broth was so rich & they had the goooooood kine noodles ππ€ #iykyk My son had the kids Ramen with extra noodles.
The fried Musubi was bomb π£perfect layer of crust and teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet.
Baked mussels, always a favorite & Pepper Tuna had a nice and citrusy ponzu sauce that I really enjoyed πThe shrimp tempura roll was literally the best we've ever had from portion size to flavor!
Their homemade chili oil was sooo flavorful on its own and really gave that kick!
On another day of visit I tried out their Short rib(kalbi) bowl and omg. Just YES! π€€
We had the pleasure of meeting and being served by the owner, Such a sweet & hard working man. The entire staff was amazing though! Will definitely make this a regular spot π€€

This place was so good! We definitely over ordered for 2 people but everything on the menu looked delicious. The appetizers were my favorites. The fried musubi was sweet and crunchy. The grilled pork belly was melt in your mouth tender. My husband loved his Alaska roll. The size of the standard rolls were on the smaller end but still fair for the price. My udon curry was so-so. It looked visually appetizing and smelled amazing but the flavor was a little lacking in my opinion. I would definitely come back and try other things on their menu.
