This place is pretty decent. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet (which I liked). I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner and it was really good. My son ordered the chicken teriyaki box and wasn't too crazy about the tempura veggies and shrimp. He said that it lacked seasoning. He did enjoy everything else though. They took a while to serve us, but to be fair, we were starving so it might have been that. The server is a very nice lady, and the prices were reasonable (considering current inflation). I would recommend for a nice, quiet dinner.
This is my go-to place every time I'm in Colorado Springs. It's amazing that you can get such good sushi in a landlocked state, but it's all amazing, and the nigiri is always generously-sized. I'm especially fond of their salmon and eel, but it's the squid that absolutely blows my mind. I lived in Japan for more than four years and never had squid so good.
Jun's rolls are also fabulous. I don't like cream cheese in sushi rolls, ever...except at Jun, where somehow they make it work. We always get a Becca roll and a Blind Date roll and they are always phenomenal.
The atmosphere is nice, with a sort of traditional Japanese austerity to it, and the service is always pleasant. There are fake Japanese -style tables (floor level, but with a sort of well space to dangle your legs in if you're not keen to sit in the Japanese manner) and I always appreciate it when I'm greeted with a hearty "Irasshaimase!" (the traditional greeting when customers enter shops and restaurants and such).
It's an expensive meal, especially when you order like we do, so I don't do it often, but when I do it's worth every penny.
I've been going to Jun's for a long time, I have fond memories of eating here when I was a kid. I prefer to sit at the bar so I can watch rolls being prepared. One of the best places in town for great tasting fish, it can be quite busy during prime hours so plan ahead for parties. My favorite thing to get is a chirashi, and especially when certain chefs make it 😋
Awesome sushi and salmon! I got the shrimp tempura roll & the teriyaki salmon with tempura. They give you a ton of food, the waitress was super sweet that I had and the guy Roy has been there for a long time and obviously knows what he's doing because the sushi roll was on point! I'll definetly be back. Not too bad of a price for lunch either.
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! The ambiance was very nice, the food was delicious and well-prepared, and the service was good, even though they seemed to be short-staffed. Several customers were on friendly terms with the staff and seemed to be regulars, giving the place a very intimate and inviting feel. We found our new fav sushi spot after trying many in town! We'll be coming back soon!🍶
Very good food here and friendly service. The broths of their soups taste home made, and their sushi has not disappointed. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, great service! Prices are great for the quality of food.
It was a great experience. Good customer service. Good Raman. The Pork was tender and the broth was great. I asked for it to be not too spicy and they accommodate. It was very good. Better be able to use chop sticks. No other options.
This place is my favorite in all of Colorado Springs. Service is fast. Food is the closest taste wise to Japan that I have found. My wife is Japanese and she loves it.
Great prompt service. Yummy meal. My roll was on point! Love the new décor. Will be back again soon. 👍
