Wow! Some of the best Italian I've ever had! I highly recommend this deceptive looking piece of food heaven! It's worth a 20-25 minute drive if you can't make Buongiorno's in Mountain Brook.
Reviews of being open or closed are not what I'm here for. I am here to review the food, which was excellent. For starters they serve bread and have herb infused oil at the table that is incredible for dipping. The salad was very good, with several types of olives mixed in. I had the shrimp tortellini, and my wife had a steak. Both were beyond delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone within driving distance. Oh, and if you are worried about them being open, CALL!!!!

Hidden Gem. Yes, looks can certainly be deceiving. A little concerned the first time we drove up, but we've been back 7 times. Never disappointed at all with any of the meals. Friendly staff, good prices, the best food in 100 miles. They offer Italian, Steak, and Seafood. Try their special: Steak, chicken, and shrimp on a bed of mashed potatoes with chipotle sauce. Amazing! Chef Valentin, formerly of Chicago's five-star restaurant, Francesca's is a culinary marvel.
We didn't stop the first time we passed, but looks can be deceiving, We finally tried it, and were pleasantly surprised. Now, we go often. Wonderful food!

The food and service is here is amazing. The head chef has created a menu with a unique blend of Italian and American. Land and sea is great as well as the Salmon bbq!
Food and service very good! Had the prime rib and it was wonderful! The roasted veggies was also very good! This was the first time we had been to the new location. We used to stop into their Cleveland, AL location and it was very good. This location might be even better!
I love the new location for this wonderful restaurant. The food was exceptional at the old location, but the atmosphere was cramped and not vented well. The food is still exceptional with beautiful surroundings to compliment the experience. Still the best steaks in north Alabama! The filet was cooked to perfection and not seasoned to the point of covering up the good quality of beef that it was. My son had the snapper, grilled perfectly, with a lovely seafood cream sauce, hint of lime, with shrimp and scallops on a bed of rice. The service was attentive, courteous, professional. We did not have room for dessert, but on my next visit I'm going to make a point to save room!
I've loved this restaurants food since it was in the small building in Cleveland, AL. In fact it is quite possibly the best Italian food I have ever had. Nothing on the menu is bad. In addition, the portions while they were in Cleveland were enough for 2 meals, and the atmosphere was classy but casual. ..That was when they were in Cleveland however. Now that they have relocated to Oneonta, AL the prices are higher and the portions seem to be almost half the size they were. The quality of their food is still exceptional. And the location is much more convenient. I would have rated it a 5 if they hadn't raised the price and given less food as well. One or the other would've been understandable. Overall I would definitely recommend. (The spaghetti is my favorite.)
We have eaten here 3 times in 2 weeks it is that good! This hidden gem is the spot to get great food. My husband and I have voted this as our new favorite place. The land & sea is absolutely wonderful & the blackened tilapia is amazing. Oh, and the tiramisu is the best I've ever had. Key lime is spot on as well.
Service was almost 5 stars. Location in Oneonta, AL with tasteful and elegant table settings. The chef puts out the freshest and best food in the area. Please drive an hour, like us, to experience the best Italian food.
White shirts require a covering. The sauces and cheeses are to dive for.
The food was delicious and more than any of us could eat. Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Will definitely go back!
My husband and I really like this little restaurant. We have tried several different dishes and haven’t found a bad one yet. Very friendly servers.
