I found this place by google search, looking for something new. Been there twice now. And both times the food has been wonderful, served fast and hot! Not the typical BBQ place - the sauces are excellent, and just the perfect amount of flavor and quantity. A clean, friendly environment. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is my new favorite spot!
Great food and good atmosphere. I just don't like being expected to tip at a fast food place. I stand in line, I pay at the counter, I seat myself, I get my own drink and refill and I clean up my mess. They hand me my food. Why should I tip.
This BBQ is drool-worthy. Loved the smokey flavor and clean dining room. Not only do they have sweet tea, they have Cleveland sweet tea (super sweet!!). Toast was fluffy and the mac and cheese paired well with pepper. The staff was patient and friendly.
Pandemic Restrictions
The restaurant didn't require that you were masks nor did they have any requests for a 6 foot space between parties. They do have limited seating with some tables being closed so there would be spaces between family members. They also ask that you ask someone who works at the restaurant to get your refills. The problem with this ask is they don't have the floor attended by anyone so getting someone to get you a refill is a hard ask. We ended up not getting on until at the very end as we were leaving an asked at the front counter.
The Food
The food was good. The sides had good flavor and felt authentic and the sauce provided for the meat was delicious. I can't say anything bad about the food and would recommend it.
Love this place! This location is great! They season their fried okra with salt and pepper, some locations don’t, it is super tasty. The pork plate is the best thing in my opinion. You get to pick two sides and it comes with buttery Texas toast. I would recommend the potato salad, baked beans, fried okra, or sweet potato fries, all yummy. They have crushed ice in the drinks too, unlike some other locations. Has a nice outdoor seating area in the warmer months to eat outside. Bonus is you can eat with your well behaved dog outside when not too busy. Best bbq I’ve ever had. It has close access to 75 too. I would definitely recommend eating here!
This place has really good BBQ. I enjoyed both the ribs and the pulled pork, but preferred the ribs. Thick, meaty and delicious. I’m glad in found this place!
Traveling down I-75 and searched for BBQ restaurants in Cleveland. Went to the website and the photos and menu descriptions convinced us to stop and order. This BBQ and sides were great!! And they know how to make great sweet tea.
The best ribs I've ever eaten. Excellent service as well. We definitely will be eating here again.
Love this place. The food is AWESOME! The staff is pretty great too. Very nice people. Always service with a smile. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I have never had an issue with this place, have had food from here both dine in and carry out for years. Never disappointed.
