The Den is FIRE. Food is so good. The staff are the sweetest people you will ever meet. The vibes are retro diner and super homey. The wait usually takes awhile from 8pm-2am since it's the only restaurant open until late at CWRU. That being said, expect to wait for sometimes an hour for food. When in doubt order ahead. This is not in any way the staff's fault, however. Our school needs more than just one food place open past 9 pm. There are also only about 4-5 workers trying to feed hundreds of starving college kids. When you walk in during peak hours, hundreds of takeout bags line the counter. The app which we order food through for the Den is also extremely inconvenient and annoying. CWRU needs to switch their app for how we order food and get another late night location on the map! The Den is the only option which is not good for students who are hungry and staff who are overworked every night.

A fast food place with great food. The most problematic thing about that place is the fact they only get reservations by the 'Grubhub' app.

Nice fast-food place for late night meals. Very close to North Residential Village where first year students live. Have to order through Transact Mobile Ordering app, and pick up at the counter.

Visiting the area from out of state. Stopped in, but didn't realize had to order through GrubHub app. Couldn't get it working do to poor internet service MANY times. I believe it was the owner that took our order in person, and comped our meal do to the frustration. Man working front end was very polite and friendly, and food was very good

The Doctor

Was open super late. Fast paced environment... A little loud at times, but nice over all. Staff were very much occupied with work and very enthusiastic. The free soda option was a lovely touch! Great place to grab a fast bite and either sit for a bit, or go back to your adventure!

I'm going to miss Shaunte Hall-Jones so much. She was a sweetheart who made this joint extra special. I've never met anyone else who could remember the name and face of every student who walked in the door. I hope she does well at her new job at Amazon and doesn't get treated poorly at their warehouse. <3 The others who work here are just as swell too, though. They greet everyone just as warmly and have the patience of saints for dealing with the hungover crowd on late Saturday nights. Their breakfast wrap and lunch wraps are great here! One thing I wish they would do though is change the hours on Google Maps. (Although being open during conventional hours on the weekends would also be nice, in my opinion.) Here's their real hours: Monday - Thursday: 11:00am to 2:30am Friday: 11:00am to 3:00am Saturday: 4:00pm to 3:00am Sunday: 4:00pm to 2:30am

A very cute little place. It really looks like a diner. The menu was a bit more limited than the “typical” Denny’s but the food was very tasty. There were lots of college students which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. I will plan to go back from now on every time that I am in Cleveland.

The water is ice cold! Very very good water! I really know my water and this is good water! Also beautiful beach front property!!!!!!

Literally can't live without the Den. I am a CWRU student, so we get 3-5 special meals a week, and I get them all at the Den. Excellent staff (like Shaunte) and it's incredible how organized they are despite the 500 orders they get every night. The food is nothing really great, but they're open really late so you take what you can get

You don't go to the Den, you end up there. Was it after a night of trying to drink away the void in your heart? Are exams macerating your emotions? Doesn't matter. The Den owns your soul now. Ps. I recommend the mozzarella sticks.
