Came for brunch on a Saturday around 11:30. It was just us and another couple inside. We were surprised how slow it was for a Saturday.
Tried the Parker’s breakfast and the potatoes were cooked perfect and had good flavor. The bacon was good, had a heavy smoke flavor and was thick cut.
Also tried the Korean chicken and waffles which was really good. Chicken was cooked perfect and the flavor was great.
Parker’s Downtown is located inside of the Schofield Hotel. It’s small, but swanky. We did starters and dessert. Everything was great! We had the loaded pierogies and grilled octopus. Both were great!
Second time at the restaurant. I enjoyed the food both times. Second time had the meatballs for an app, the lamb shoulder with mash potatoes and the strawberry cheesecake. All very good. The service was great as well. Great selection of happy hour foods and drinks.
Fantastic salmon Benedict. Some of the best French toast I've ever had, too. Great cocktail!
Had an early dinner on a Saturday night before a play. We told our server our time frame and he was very attentive. The restaurant was empty when we walked in at 5 but was filled by the time we left around 6:30 or so.
We ordered the calamari along with tomato soups for app and they were very good. We all ordered steak for our meals and the meats were all cooked properly with great flavor. Overall enjoyable meal and would return again.
Went for brunch on a Saturday. The Madras bloody was an interesting twist on a usual brunch beverage. Prices aren't too bad.
Beautiful and well executed menu. You can't go wrong with anything here. Service is good and the food is consistent. It is a great place for a date, business dinner, or even a casual bite at the bar. Really good cocktail program and wine list as well and they have a beautiful private dining room as well.
I like Parker's. It's closer to fine dining than casual, but not overly pretentious. I like the menu, lots of staples with creative twists. I like the cauliflower soup they feature, a curry soup with snow crab, very tasty.
The place offers all of your high end cuts of beef, I have not gotten a steak here but I am sure they are good. They offer a Prime Steak on the Menu as well as a Wagu special, but I find the downtown mark up on steak dinners a bit outrageous. I had a great 22 oz. choice bone-in Rib-eye at a less fancy suburb establishment for $28. There's is $48. So it costs $20 more to eat it downtown. Is what it is I suppose, comparable dishes at other downtown steak houses are more.
Great place for lunch with very tasty salads and sandwiches. Very good main dishes, and you can do your big occasion steak dinner here as well.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner in the cozy lounge. Dan our server was helpful, attentive and friendly; food runner also. My filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well as the mashed reds. My asparagus was cooked perfectly but too salty. Husband had the sous vide scallops and those were some of the best he's had (as accurately advertised by our server). Drinks were creative and tasty.
Will come for lunch during the work week and try the burger.
I really enjoyed Parker’s. We went with a group of eight people. They hooked us up with a round table and a terrific server who knew the menu, and got the food out hot and on time.
Try the Young Salad or the 21 day aged ribeye. The apps, salads, steaks and seafood were all presented well and tasted great. Awesome foodie experience.
