Trio was the perfect dining experience from start to finish. We called in for a group of 9 and they were so accommodating. Some of our family is following a vegan no-oil diet so going out can be challenging. The chef at Trio was so amazing. He was not only willing to make something, he made the most amazing dishes. Each course was better than the last. Arugula pasta was definitely the family favorite. I had it without modifications and it was delicious. We had a couple small plates and a main course, which made the whole experience more exciting.

FABULOUS! We had a fantastic experience. The food was phenomenal, the drinks were tasty, and the staff was lovely. Very helpful gentleman behind the bar (sorry I missed your name!) who kept great conversation and made wonderful suggestions. We had the squash, mussels, and the cassoulet for 2 for our meal and the bread pudding for dessert. I highly recommend each of them. Everything is small plates portions but those dishes were enough for two folks who can eat (A LOT!). Thank you for a great experience! We'll definitely be back!

Have enjoyed dinner here twice now on the way to Playhouse Square and has been super. Really well done small plates with great flavor combinations I just don't see anywhere else. They do some simply amazing plates with pork. Service has always been attentive without being overbearing and well timed. This is the up-scale version of the chef's other restaurant, 111 Bistro, which is our local go-to near our house in Medina which is also excellent and a bit more casual but it is absolutely worth the trip to Trio!

Amazing in every aspect that matters! Be sure to try their happy hour in the front bar. Billy, the bar manager, will take great care of you!

Visited for Happy Hour, and totally enjoyed the experience. The food was fantastic, very high quality and economically priced. I will be dreaming about that beef stew entrée! Had one of the by the glass wine features, which was a very good value for the price, great quality. Very gracious, prompt, informed service. Was here with a fairly large group and did not call ahead, so very impressed with the level of service and quality of food and drink. I will be back!

My favorite new restaurant in town. Maybe I'm spoiled but most menus these days look all the same. Not at Trio. Many dishes there are super creative and contain flavor combinations I've never seen or experienced. Cocktails are also very creative and different. The one I had was very deep and complex. Definitely try this place if you're tired of the same old same old.

Excellent meal. I had the cauliflower fricassee and venison. The venison had a beautiful presentation and was absolutely delicious. Cauliflower was well balanced with kohlrabi and kale. Staff is as friendly as ever and the atmosphere is warm and contemporary. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Everything is just amazing. Their craft cocktails are unique and fantastic. I recommend their 14th & Auburn cocktail. It's a bourbon red wine cocktail which I was very skeptical about, but it brings out the best of both worlds. Always a good selection of craft beer and an extensive wine list. Their bartender Billy knows more about spirits/beer/wine and food then any other bartender I've ever met. I always felt like their was a gaping hole in the tremont culinary scene when lolita burned down, but no longer. I've eaten there at least 15 times since they opened and everything is perfect. I got to try some new menu items today and they're just hitting it out of the park. I believe they also have an aggressive happy hour menu, but have yet to get there early enough to get it.

Ah small plates: often executed yet rarely perfected. A tired concept, to say the least. Why, then, would I even give Trio the time of day? If we're being honest, it's because the restaurant is about a block from my house. The proximity, however, is not what keeps me coming back; it's the experience. Imagine the best, most high-end, coursed, "chef's tasting menu," meal you've ever had. Now slightly increase the plate size to tapas and multiply that out to a full menu. Yes. That is what you get at Trio: A full selection of shareables truly too good for the tired "small plates" title. Now - stick with me here - imagine if that finely crafted food was delivered to you in unassuming digs by unobtrusive yet helpful service staff who obviously love the restaurant and the fact that you're in it. Oh yes. The people are as good as the food (maybe better). Finally: the bar. Oh, the bar. You will be delighted by the level of contemplation used to select every bottle of wine and dazzled by the care taken to construct every cocktail (The 14th and Auburn deserves special note). The food, the people, the booze - a truly tantalizing Trio. Go. Enjoy. Tell everyone you know.
