Buffalo Creek Bbq

Excellent BBQ. We had brisket, smoked turkey, and some sides, including Mac and cheese. All were excellent. If you like BBQ you will like Buffalo Creek. However, more than that, we came in later in the afternoon, closer to 2:30. They had just been slammed by a lunch crowd. They were amazing! We could tell they were tired but they served us with smiles. All around excellent restaurant and staff.

I decided to visit this place because of the Google ratings and I'm glad I did. If you are in the area, it's wonderful. If you are at least within an hour drive or want to take a drive - it's worth it. I always look for meat that can stand on it's own without sauce - this one did. Make sure you try it that way yourself - you'll have to let them know not to drown it in sauce. Unfortunately, I didn't catch it in time and had to ask for another plate. They really should ask first - not everyone cares for sauce. Anyway - jalapeno pintos were great and so was the potato salad. I also got the pecan pie and it was well worth the splurge. Hope you stop by and try them - great place and everyone is very friendly.

Pretty good BBQ. I had a chopped beef sandwich and frankly, the meat was pretty dry without a lot of sauce. The ribs were good though and they've got great sides. 1 thing did annoy me the day I was there. A bunch of coworkers were dining together but kept arriving later and later. The workers that were already there just kept letting them cut into the line. This happened 6 times! The owner should have put a stop to it. There were other patrons standing in line first!

I would like to say that this place and the food is amazing! They are extremely nice and if your a regular they will remember you. My husband has been going there for years and he is known as the Safelite guy ( the potato/rib man) lol. They treat us with such kindness 😊 Love their sweet tea and their desserts are delicious!

Uuuummmmm no. I love love love ribs. I was visiting and on my own for a few hours and decided I wanted to get some small town (I'm from Houston area) BBQ. The ribs tasted like they were boiled or maybe even made in a instapot and then a little smoke put on them. The potato salad and mac n cheese was good. I asked a few locals where to get good BBQ in Cleburne and the consensus was there isn't one this place is as good as it gets around here.
