Heff's Burgers

You can't beat a Heff's Burger for size and quality. I personally prefer more seasoning but they have plenty of seasoning options at the table. They are a little expensive and this location need a sign at the street. They sit pretty far off the street and I have to search for them every time I come here. I have tried to send them new customers and about half the time they just can't find this place. Cleburne has too many food options for people to search for very long. Heff's Burgers are however worth the hunt. I just worry they won't be at this location much longer without proper signage. Correction, I did see a sign at the street but it was way too high.

Although on the pricier side for burgers, it's well worth a stop if you're a fan of the Texas staple. All the kids were singing praises for this place after ordering a corndog, steak sticks and a BLT. My jalapeño burger (pictured) was quite delightfully flavorful even though it wasn't especially spicy. My husband's sourdough burger (also pictured) was a bit of a letdown as he said he couldn't taste anything that remotely resembled sourdough. Just the same, he said he liked it but had envisioned a thick, juicy burger between two thick Texas-toast-esque slices of sourdough.

Our party got 2 salads. Great size one was made to order. Both were great tasting. Had to wait for them to be made but that was great they were fresh, made just the way we ordered them. Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Would recommend you try Heff's burgers. Also have a menu with not just burgers. Think you can find something for everyone.

Mediocre burgers, bad service, long wait. To start we ordered and had to wait a long time before we ever got our food. When the order got to the table the burgers were supposed to have bacon and the bacon was almost nonexistent and one burger was missing the veggies entirely. The staff brought out more bacon and gave us veggies to put on the burger and were going to bring a complimentary dessert for getting the order wrong...the dessert never came. We sat around waiting after we ate. We got tired of waiting and just left. The wait would have been justified if they were busy or the food was incredible. But this was not the case. Our dogs are getting half of the food we ordered so at least they'll appreciate it. Do not waste your time or money here.

We ate about six weeks ago or so when the big manager was in for few days doing training it was empty but was told was good and it was so so good my wife had wanted grumps so I was praying it didn't let her down and it was great!! Ice cream machine was down so the guy would not let us order desert because all come with ice cream they not only said next visit we all three get free desert but manager gave us a free cheese cake to try. Food was top notch everyone should try we don't want to loose this place

I went in for a burger for lunch with a friend, since I only get an hour for lunch I ordered about 20 min before I went up to the place. I specifically told the guy on the phone it'll be for DINE in. I order two burgers, when we arrived, he handed me my food in a bag, I said I figured it was take out.....so whatever we sat down to eat.....my burger was so soggy from it sitting in the bag, I took TWO bites, I went up and nicely asked the guy for a bottom bun for my burger because it was so soggy, he said okay, let me put it on the grill to toast. 25 min past and I never got my bun, my burger got cold, and I couldn't even eat it. The guy kept walking away when I tried to ask about my food. Its too expensive to be playing these games. :(
