whenever we are in Clifton, usually to see a movie- we stop at Biaggios either for a meal, sandwich or his WONDERFUL desserts!  In 3 years we've been there maybe 10 times. I'm getting hungry thinking about it-  maybe this weekend...!

OK at $ but not a $$$ restaurant. We went for lunch having looked it up on Urban Spoon under "fine dining." It was a jolt when the waiter set down the bread: four slices out of a commercial loaf. My chicken salad sandwich and dinner salad and my wife's Cesar salad were all OK. The $$$ label is a mistake. As a $, suitable for an impecunious college student, it's fine. We were looking for something tastier.

Felt like a cafe I once frequented in Rome! Lovely to be able to watch twin filets and fresh pasta made nearly table side...and they were divine! Hands down my favorite pesto linguine in town! Excellent coffee (no wonder...read his history!) and great puffs! Only disappointment...only...was the cannoli only because we hoped it'd rival our Boston favorites from Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry in North End...sadly these were a bit hard and could've maybe been better if the ricotta filling had a touch of sweetness and was less firm...maybe we rushed to eat them when they should've sat out of fridge case for a bit? Just sharing this openly but don't let one pastry dessert dissuade you from going here! Good meal, fair price, family friendly if your children can actually sit at a table and not act out or run around.

Awesome little place. I feel like I'm in Italy when I am here, the food is very good (not fancy like Prima Vista or Nicolas, but very solid good), and I love the atmosphere and the people who work here.

Clifton Gaslight Gem. As a Clifton Gaslight resident, I am so happy Biagio's is in the neighborhood. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich is a favorite and comes with choice of soup or salad.

If you are craving some comfort food , this is the spot for dinner. Makes a nice little date night or bring the whole family. The menu is not lengthy, but 2 nightly specials are usually offered in addition to choose from. I like the fact that choice of soup or salad is included with the meal. The desserts are delicious. My son has always loved the banana cream pie since he was a toddler.

Biagio ( the owner) is a character and a good neighbor to the Clifton Community. This restaurant has a lot of regulars and the Clifton Gaslight Residents really like this restaurant.

Biagio's is good but it's nothing too special to someone who is familiar with great Italian cuisine. The service is spotty and unorganized but it doesn't detract from dining. The prices are reasonable. Biagio's is good but not great.

The Best Dining Experience!. This is the best i Clifton! I never mind the narrow menu - because the food is quite good! I sometimes make lunch my main meal and the soups/ appetizers are quite tasty. I like the staff, because they have endured my eccentricities over the years and they are always kind and helpful! Viva Biagio's! A restaurant with heart ! Ciao !!

Biagio's is a unique dining experience in Cincinnati and almost an icon in the Clifton Gaslight District. The decor on the inside is quaint, the layout unique, and the atmosphere casual yet classy. It's always a bit claustrophobic on weekend nights as well. The small menu consists of freshly prepared soups, salads and pastas, all made fresh right in front of your eyes. Chef Biagio cooks along a row of stovetop burners that are kept right in front of the dining room. One of my favorite things about the dining experience is watching him bounce between saucepans, adding cream, garlic, pasta and cheese to the various dishes he is cooking. The food itself is quite good. The pasta is all made in house and the seasonings are simple and flavorful. The Alfredo is a classic: creamy with a touch of garlic and heavy fresh green onion. I highly recommend Biagio's. It is a good combination of fresh food and fresh location. Great for a night out.

Words can not possily explain how much I love Biagio's, and how unbelievably good it is! First off, the atmosphere is GORGEOUS! I feel like a queen walking in there. Absolutely stunning. When you sit down, you have a glass of water, a plate of bread, and a little silver container of butter. I don't know what it is, but there water almost seems magical! It tastes so good! And then... The butter. AMAZING butter! I eat the bread and butter with in seconds. Then, I always order the tomato soup. If I was dying, my last wishes would be to have one last bite of their tomato soup. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever ate. Then, I usuay get a plate of fettuccine alfredo, which is a little bland, but I love it. You can't possibly leave there, without thinking you've just ate heaven. I've moved from Cincinnati, but I still dream about Biagio's, and go there every single time I'm in town.

We entered the place, and I saw a man cooking cooking the best pasta I could describe. We were seated instantly, the menu was short and sweet, which made it easier to make the decision. When the food arrived, the quantities were huge, awesomely tasty and also priced nicely. This has been one of the best Italian restaurants I have had. By the way, the cook is also the owner. Which only makes it so much better and personable.

Phenomenal experience! Authentic Italian food, superb service, and the most inviting atmosphere. Loved the pesto pasta with chicken and the bread was delicious! The food was even prepared out in the middle of the restaurant! Definitely recommend and will definitely come again.

Absolutely amazing! The homemade bread was so good and the wedding soup was so delicious! My husband and I were blown away by how delicious everything was! The owner makes the food up front where you can see and the waiter was phenomenal. 100% recommend can’t say enough about how good it is!

Was greeted and seated in a professional and nice manner. The owner personally gave me a rundown of how the menu works and helped give me suggestions because everything is made to order. I really enjoyed the tomato soup. It gives a subtle balance between acidic and sweetness. It is also pretty light, thus when I dip the bread in it. It doesn't feel overwhelming. The food portion is phenomenal. For what I am paying, it is definitely worth the price. The amount of pasta makes it possible to go. The individual ingredients are cooked to perfection. The sauce I'm tasting bring everything together and creates a harmony that spells out authentic Italian cuisine. Won't hesitate to come back again.

True Itialan experience in Cincinnati. Great flavors hits your face when you walk in past the open kitchen saute station upon entering the restaurant. Started with a true Cesar is served with anchovies. The dishes enjoyed were packed full if flavor with many a mushrooms and capers to round out the home made linguine. Highly recommend and wish had room to try the deserts. Revisit still great food fish special was brassino perfectly prepared

If you want authentic Italian food in the Cincinnati/Northern KY area, this is the only place to go. Each meal is made from scratch. Absolutely the best.

Yum!!! If this place is on your radar GO, try it out. Definitely a hidden gem! Flavors and freshness are on point, service was great and the quaint intimate atmosphere was perfect. We tried this place on a whim and it did not disappoint! Pretty neat experience to be able to see the kitchen from any seat. There is a huge mirror on the wall so we could still see everything even though we choose a more secluded table by the window. I'd say it's time for some minor updates to the aesthetic though. Like taking off the old wall paneling and changing up the paint to give it a more updated vibe. But that doesn't really matter with how delicious everything is! Also a little candle at each table would be nice for the ambiance this place has! Overall this will be our new go to for Italian food.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been. If you are in the area, you are in for a treat and this place is a must stop by. Food is caringly cooked by Biagio himself in dining area right in front of you! Soup and espresso are great. Bruschetta is to die for! Pasta is heavenly! Did I say service is on point? They have the best server who is extremely polite and takes good care of the guests.

This is a true gem in this city! After years of waking of seeing it, I decided to finally check it out as I was leaving the city. The service and food match in quality! I got the special of sea bass with a pasta I've never had and a creative mix of veggies. The sauce was oh so good! The tomato pesto soup is a must, a bit sweet with such flavor. For dessert try the cream pies made in house. This is a family owned and operated restaurant that will exceed every expectation!

Came here very last minute before close and they were very welcoming. Asked if I wanted to be seated but I decided on takeout. This tiramisu is awesome! So creamy. I also love that the place is not too big but not too small.
