The Hat Chicago

I'm here almost everyday. I call it "uppity Maxwell." The prices are a little on the high end because you can get these same items on the West Side in the hood for half the price, but this is Wicker Park, a high end neighborhood of Chicago, so the prices make sense here. It's Chicago's street food. it's greatly portioned and delicious. The cozy dine in or the cozy patio dining. Right in the center of one of the most bustling neighborhoods in Chicago. It's literally the perfect place to experience Chicago.

When I looked at their Greek Salad with Gyro Meat it looked simple. Just plain veggies and meat. But when I tasted it, it was so good. The veggies were fresh and a little bit crunchy because of their freshness. It has some sauce where it makes Greek Salad good. It has a lot of Gyro meat and I suggest that they put in some Gyro meat since it was a salad. Their Chicken Wings also are plain for me. It's like I can make its flavor in our house. The flavor was common. But it's good that the outside was a little bit crunchy and the meat inside was juicy. And it's good if you don't dip it in some sauce. Well I will try their other dish If I come here again. For now I just gave a 3 stars rating to this fast food restaurant.

This place was clean. You can see their floor was neat. The staff are too busy to clean the floor. Also some of the staff are busy assisting the customer. When I came here there were few people inside. Enjoying the food they eat. I ordered Fried Mozzarella Sticks and Double Cheeseburger with Bacon only. I love the Fried Mozzarella Sticks. It's amazing and yummy. Can't get over its taste so I order takeout again. While their Double CheeseBurger was delicious. Even though it's a little bit messy when it comes since it has a lot of sauce and cheese. The meat on it was pretty amazing. It's juicy and so good to eat. Their bun is not good to take photos since it has a cracked bun. Overall I like their food. Highly recommend this place.

The cashier had an incredibly difficult time understanding my order since it wasn't a standard order number. It was frustrating and once again everything takes so long because take out on-line orders are drowning businesses that don't staff accordingly. The burger was under cooked even though I pleaded very well done so I had to deal with the angry spouse but the rest of the food was pretty good so I'd go back but call ahead with an order.
