This place is convenient and across the street from our condo ..service is always excellent .. and the food especially the anti pasta salad is amazing .. we’ve had their special sub sandwich which is amazing also . We always order the #22 pizza which is great!
The pizza was excellent and the service as well. Usually I say the sauce makes the pizza but that combination of cheeses used just sets that muddafuqer off!!! I hadn't been to Aurelios since I was a lil boy and my dad used to bring me in. And the signature beers and selections are top notch. Me, my family and friends will definitely be back. Thanx for a great experience.
Interesting experience for pizza lovers. If you are addicted to cheese it’s a place for you. If you came from Europe it’s worth to try stuffed pizza „Chicago style”. Small is more enough for two. We had medium and wasn’t able to eat half of it. Good quality.
They also have good choice of local beers.
I dined in for dinner at this location with a friend, and I was NOT disappointed. LUIS, our waiter was amazing! He was on top of everything! Before we could ask for another drink, he was already bringing another, and he was the absolute most sweet and genuine individual. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was great, definitely a friendly staff, and most importantly I will be back to dine in again. Thank you Luis for such a great service experience.
This place is one of the best pizza places I've ever been. If you need gluten free, you HAVE to come here. Could not tell it was gluten free crust at all, and the pizza itself is criminally delicious. Staff was unparalleled and super friendly and helpful. We went twice during our trip and it was the only repeat we did for food.
Aurelio's Pizza is a pizzeria chain that has been in Chicago and other locations since 1959. It offers different types of pizza, pasta and sandwiches. My visit was great. The food was delicious, fast on the table and the prices were fair. The server, Katie, was extremely friendly and professional.
Easily my favorite pizza in the US. Easily. My family is from Argentina and my parents said, as we walked out, they searched for 25 years for a pizza as good as the ones back home. And it was here. The thin crust is perfect. Never had a bad experience.
Came here for dinner and only waited about 15 minutes on Memorial Day weekend. We got the toasted ravioli and BBQ boneless wings for the appetizers. The ravioli was very good and the boneless wings had plenty of sauce. The ranch was very good too.
I got a Red Line beverage as well. It was phenomenal.
Pizza was really good! Got the pepperoni and sausage stuffed crust. Had plenty of flavor and meat. Lots of cheese. A lot of the cheese did end up underneath the pizza while on the sheet but it was still good.
Excellent service and atmosphere. The pizza was hot and made pretty quickly. The crust is thin and very Crispy. The only reason I docked a star is because the sauce was a tad sweet and I missed the garlic saltiness usually found in pizza sauces. We visited at a less busy time and our apps were out in about 5 minutes! The fries were excellent and the toasted ravioli was incredible.
Definitely recommend you give them a try!
First time here so husband and I stopped in with the kids ordered a few appetizers and for the main reason a sausage mushroom thin crust pizza and when I tell you everything was on point it was delicious. Service wasn't long on waiting out waitress was super nice and again the food was great I will surely be back with the kids and husband
I came to Chicago open minded and wanting to try their famous deep dish pizza.
I first tried Giordano's stuffed pizza. I was in for a surprise. they use pie dough instead of real pizza dough. A real disappointment. I had to try another place...
So I searched for the original place, where it all started: Uno! So instead of a stuffed pizza, they serve real deep dish pizza. Better overall, better toppings, but... Still that pie dough! I will never get why Chicagoans use pie dough instead of real pizza dough.
I still had to try some other pizza. The thin crust Chicagoans love, so I went to Aurelio's.
Ok, better. Service was great, even on a busy night.
Thin crust pizza is served on a metal grill so the crust stays crispy, a nice touch. But... it's still that weird pie dough.
Conclusion : Chicago pizza, wether it's stuffed, deep dish or thin crust, has nothing to do with real Italian pizza, but you still have to try it. Many loves it, it's just not for me.
It was pretty good. The pizza wasn't thin enough for my liking tho. My husband loved it. He also had Bosco bread for the first time. Heaven! Our server was very attentive.
