Upon arrival to my favorite donut (now spelled doughnut) stand in the Chicago French Market I was greeted with a newly transformed Beavers Donuts. Same great doughnuts and same great staff, served up in beautiful packing and aesthetic. The new menu includes a new topping, Blueberry Lemon, which combines sweet and tart phenomenally. Donuts are now sold in quantities of 4, 6, 12, and 24; best of all, mixing various toppings within the box will no longer affect the price! I was pleasantly surprised by the facelift, and the Dapper crew really helped walk me through the transitional menu.

These are some delicious donuts! They come in warm, freshly fried small bites, convenient for sharing with my team at work. The complaints about slow service are missing the point - if you want a cold premade donut that's been sitting in a greasy box all day, there are plenty of other options.

This donut truck was available to patrons at the Bridgeview 4th of july fireworks. There were only 2 employees working the event. The line was astronomically long , which is to be expected for that event. They definitely should of had more staff to make things run a little smoother. The employee who was running the register and taking orders seemed like he was a little out of it. He was not very eager to serve, He was also very quiet, could barely hear him. When i went to pay my total was 8.50. He asked me if i had any quarters. If you're going to have prices that require quarters for change they should have been supplied with ample rolls of quarters. Also this truck seems to be made for those that are 6 feet tall. Even though my order was wrong, the donuts were still tasty.

I understand that this was a change from Beaver but to make loyal customers pay more for less is ridiculous. Its literally the same batter and flavors. You all lost a customer and maybe more when I tell everyone in my office. sad.

This isn't so much a review as it is a public service announcement: Beavers Donuts is so incredibly, ridiculously good that it has ruined my life and will ruin yours too.
Even now, as I bite into a sweet, crunchy cinnamon donut, I have to force myself not to finish off the rest of the mini bag. Cinnamon is my favorite since I generally love cinnamon, but having sampled all of their other free toppings (chocolate, powdered, and granulated), I can attest that they are all phenomenal.
I can't hype this place up enough; next time you're at Chicago French Market or see one of their food trucks, do yourself a favor and spend $2 on a mini-bag. You'll be hooked.

I visited Beavers Donuts food truck at Taste of Chicago today. The wonderful taste of their donuts cannot begin to compensate for the utter rudeness of the staff member I encountered. No greeting and not a thought of a thank you from this young woman. As a matter of fact, the employee never even spoke to me even after I attempted to interact and speak with her. Definitely won't be patronizing this establishment ever again! If your product tastes delicious, but your employees are downright unfriendly - no, thanks! :(
