Came here for a lowkey lunch - a step up from fast food but without the high price - and this was exactly what we were looking for. Great atmosphere, both inside and outside.
Located in a great part of the city, perfect if you want grab a bite before/after hopping around the little shops in the area.

My wife and I were visiting Chicago and were excited to see our SF Giants play the Cubs at Wrigley. We wanted to get a few drinks before the game but not at any of the sterile corporate bars. Bernie's looked like it had some character so decided to give it a try. It was a little crowded but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar and quickly made friends with some Cubs fans. Our bartender was a little standoffish at first but then warmed up, even giving us some tequila shots.
I'd definitely come back here again

Right outside Wrigley Field, on Clark Ave, left field side. Good "bar" food. And quite possibly the BEST, MOST FRIENDLY BARTENDER, the beautiful Bruita aka B. Very welcoming and friendly !! A fun spot before or after a Cubs game. 5⭐️ & 2 👍👍, Highly Recommend !!!

Not just a pre and post Cubs game bar. Bernie’s has a great updated interior and a pretty nice patio. Plus Maddie our bartender was super friendly even though she was pretty busy. Wings were really good

My brother and I were in Chicago last weekend and walked into Bernie’s on way to see Wrigley. This place is great-has that hometown pub feel, bartender was amazing, wish I remember her name. Couple regulars welcomed us South Carolina boys and even bought couple rounds of shots. Had apps and they were great.
Will def be stopping here again next time in Chicago, Go Clemson!!

Beto was the most incredible busser...every time we took our last sip or bite, he swooped in to grab our dirty dishes. And THEN when I accidentally started walking out without my purse, he brought to me and SAVED my life, since I’m here from out of town. What a good man!!!

Bernie is my late father's nickname and he was a huge fan. Easy choice. The place was packed so the door man pointed out the second floor. Excellent atmosphere and service, the food was prompt and delicious. Cubs win as well over Cards 4-3. I recommend Bernie's .

There is a bartender who works at Bernie's, his name is Dave, and, he is one of the best bartenders in all of Chicago! The service he provides goes beyond exemplary, and, no matter how busy the place is, even during Cubs' mania, you get your drinks immediately if Dave is the bartender who is serving you! I always go to Bernie's, and, Dave is a very big reason why!
