Bernie is my late father's nickname and he was a huge fan. Easy choice. The place was packed so the door man pointed out the second floor. Excellent atmosphere and service, the food was prompt and delicious. Cubs win as well over Cards 4-3. I recommend Bernie's .
You can't go wrong with some bar apps... and Bernie's does it better than most. Plenty to choose from and portions generous enough to go around
Came here for a lowkey lunch - a step up from fast food but without the high price - and this was exactly what we were looking for. Great atmosphere, both inside and outside.
Located in a great part of the city, perfect if you want grab a bite before/after hopping around the little shops in the area.
My wife and I were visiting Chicago and were excited to see our SF Giants play the Cubs at Wrigley. We wanted to get a few drinks before the game but not at any of the sterile corporate bars. Bernie's looked like it had some character so decided to give it a try. It was a little crowded but we were able to get 2 seats at the bar and quickly made friends with some Cubs fans. Our bartender was a little standoffish at first but then warmed up, even giving us some tequila shots.
I'd definitely come back here again

Right outside Wrigley Field, on Clark Ave, left field side. Good "bar" food. And quite possibly the BEST, MOST FRIENDLY BARTENDER, the beautiful Bruita aka B. Very welcoming and friendly !! A fun spot before or after a Cubs game. 5⭐️ & 2 👍👍, Highly Recommend !!!
Not just a pre and post Cubs game bar. Bernie’s has a great updated interior and a pretty nice patio. Plus Maddie our bartender was super friendly even though she was pretty busy. Wings were really good

Good specials. Got the 50c wings with buffalo. 9/10. EDIT: Ended up trying their tacos too and Bernie’s really doesn’t disappoint. Looks this will be one of my regulars from now!

We love Bernie's! The food is seriously great and when we catch their specials it's even better. The wings are impressively big and they have one of the best veggie burgers we know of.
Great food, great service, very friendly staff. Perfect spot to have a drink or appetizer before or after the game.
