I hadn't been to La pasadita in over 15 years since we moved from the neighborhood. The prices have definitely gone up from $1.25 taco back in the days but isn't that everywhere. I ordered 3 different kinds of tacos. Once I got them, they did not disappoint. The tacos were filled with meat and very flavorful, my son had rice and just as delicious. Thank you for keeping this place up and open after all the year with authentic Mexican flavor. We will definitely come back more often.

I don’t know what’s going on here as far as reviews! First of all, I grew up diversy/Ashland I was probably 17 the first time I patronized this establishment. I’m 54 now. I now live in Edgewater on the lake. Drive to la pasadita often as in my 36 years of trying steak tacos Every where in Chicago la Pasadita never disappoints I don’t care what establishments windows are doing or their seating. I don’t care who the owner is. They have kept their authenticity and I don’t know about the green salsa maybe try the black it’s very special. Portions are always great . We always order an extra side of cilantro and onion, because if you want more you must ask for it and pay for it. As a small business owner myself if I think about them being open 36 years and I’m not sure it could be more hands down. Keep doing your best and I’ll see you soon.!

Best taco I’ve had since I moved to Chicago. Late night hours are awesome. Staff was super fast at getting the order ready. Perfect spicy level.

I hadn't been to la Pasadita for probably 20 years. I used to go back in 1988 through the end of the '90s. I stopped in after a concert at the salt shed and I was not disappointed one bit, I was actually very impressed with the service, the food and everything else. It was just like they've done it back in the day. The price looks a little high but for the amount of food that you get even with just a taco it's well worth it. I take Augusta going back home to Indiana whenever I go to The Empty Bottle and I was unaware until last Tuesday that la Pasadita was so close to The Empty Bottle. I will definitely be hitting La Pasadita after every Empty Bottle show!

My friend recommended the steak burrito. He wasn’t joking, these are the best I had. They load it up with a lot of steak and the flavors are incredible. The price is right because they clearly pay a lot for the ingredients. 5-stars, and will definitely go again!

Good food, late night spot. Service is fast, you order at the counter at least at this location. They do bring the food out to you, but no table service. Prices jumped quite a bit since my last visit, but to be expected? Food is tasty and they are open late so ...

If you're looking for a hole in the wall dive place open late, this will be your stop. Food is great, prices are not worth it as they charge for all extras. 4 tacos 2 drinks $40!!

I have been coming here since I was a kid. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago. ❤️❤️❤️ big portions for the price. Has pretty much tasted the same for as long as I can remember.

Wonderfully large portions for cheap prices. This food is delicious and authentic! Great for a late night meal or lunch. I am a vegetarian but all the proteins looked like they were absolutely to die for. Would absolutely come back here again.
