Simply a great hidden gem in a non-descript storefront. The goat plate is phenomenal. Served with onions and cilantro. The hot sauce is to die for. The goat is tender, sitting in juice that you just have to sop up with the tortillas. Highly recommend.

Tried some things we haven't before. A bit of a hole in the wall but had a patio in which we didn't sit. Very good all round.
This is hands down the best Birria spot that I've been in a while. The employees are beyond amazing, and very welcoming. They make you feel as if you were in your own home. The goat was tender, flavorful and the portions were more than enough. The " Cabeza taco" was cooked on the flat iron and it was crispy but tender. It's a must have!
Everything we had was spectacular, but what stands out even more is the feeling of belongingness. I would speak of service, but the staff goes way beyond that. They welcome you and work tirelessly towards providing an actual experience! For a while we traveled to their homes, to their roots, and we shared a meal! Impressive, a must visit!
We had the birria plate & quesabirria with consommé to start with. It was soooo sooo good. My 12yr old son couldn't get enough of the quesabirria, we had to put in a 2nd order. I love the carbeza taco, the meat was so tender. We had some consommé left, it was so good, we just had to take it home and make more quesadillas at home to finish enjoying it. Get the jamaica(hibiscus) drink, it was very good. The waitress was nice & kind to make recommendations. She kept coming back to check if we needed more corn tortillas. The best corn tortillas & freshly made on premise! My husband who is not crazy about flan, he was fighting with the kids and myself over the flan from here .. lol

This place is absolutely fabulous. They have a limited menu so don’t expect to have your choice among a dozen dishes, but everything they do, they do world class well and you want to eat what they’re serving. Succulent slow cooked goat birria falls off the bone and served in a consommé broth so delicious I literally ate it with a spoon. The tortillas are made in-house from fresh masa. The horchata is the best I’ve ever had in the Midwest. Good prices, fast friendly service, we will definitely be back.
Hands down the best quesabirria I've ever had. Everything was so perfect that it's hard to pick exactly what I liked the best about them. The horchatta iced coffee was also amazing. The service was really great too. Everyone greeted me when I walked in and I had a very short wait.
Food was quick and so delicious! Staff was also incredibly friendly! I had been hearing about this place for a long time but never made it until recently. I'll definitely be back!
True gem in chicago serving goat birria (unlike most places that use beef). I usually get the plate but some ppl thst like more soup get the bowl. Don’t skip their quesadillas which are good to make a cheesy taco with. Their salsa mocajate id also very good. All tortillas are corn and made in house.
First time having this type of meat and it was epic!!! The people are super welcoming and give u a sample before ordering. The drinks and food are to die for. Love this place. This is definitely going to be my new spot. Highly recommend.
