I've visited this place a couple of times. To be begin with, it is a bit overpriced for shakes. Also, they do have some flavourful and unique gelato flavors. I recommend ordering the cookie monster gelato shake. Overall, it's average or comparable to what's in the area.

We came to hang out in this area because it's in the Fulton Market area and I wanted to go to some bars/restaurant in the area.
Bombobar is a pretty cozy space that is built from extending the side of an adjacent restaurant. The area is a big tent, but feels pretty cozy. To order the food, there's a window kinda like take out that places and calls out your order.
My friend got the s'mores one and I got the vanilla cream custard bombiloni. Both were so good! For the taste, the actual bombiloni was warm and soft yet chewy- just like the Italian deal. For the presentation, both of them came in a cute box with a hole in the middle to hold the large pipette (the filling of the bombiloni was held in the pipette and you can squeeze it to DIY and add filling vs. already having the filling squeezed in usually which makes it fun! The s'mores one was so pretty with a huge marshmallow and chocolate drizzles. There was also a bar table of seating that could maybe seat 10 so it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy.
The hot chocolate and other items also looked really good. Recommend for a unique take on this Italian donut and for a fun but quick snack.

Bombobar's has the most authentic tasting Italian Gelato I've tasted in quite a while.
My dog š and I just finished hiking through the West Loop farmer's š market nearby and needed some shade, water and Gelato.
Clearly they know their gelato...blows away the competition and I'm extremely picky with ice cream š¦ and Gelato.
Just order some at the window, take a seat outside and enjoy their throbbing dance music š¶ that streams non stop.

The guy who took my order was really nice, but the cookie monster Gelato was just okay. The Gelato itself was good, but the cookie dough in it tasted like it was from a tube. Cute place for overpriced ice cream.

Delicious fresh to order donutsā¦ but I miss the old way they use to serve the donuts (customers use to get a mini syringe to self inject the syrup)

Cute little place for dessert. A friend's sweet tooth craving led us here. Quick service. We got the gelatos, berry mango sorbet was a bit sour, cookies and cream along with hazelnut stracciatella was fine.

This is one of the places that I loved to go and I did. Before we start, if you are planing to go to have the donuts, shakes, or gelato you would to stand out, because they donāt have place for this service. In side is only for restaurant and par. Wonderful shake I drank that day, really worth to try. I highly recommend to come and get one of those. Delicious, looks nice and have multiple choices. I have here small note for you that, it is kind of expensive if you want to get an order. I see it should be less expensive to be honest.

Really cool spot for dessert. The idea of going to a side window at a restaurant is a dope concept! We got the sāmores and Nutella bombolonies which were awesome. Think we preferred the Nutella one but they were both really good. Highly recommend this spot! Went at 2:30pm on a Friday and there was no line

I ordered the double cheese Bomboburger with beacon and parmesan fries and four Bomboloni (Vanilla bean, Cherry cheese cake, Lemon Meringue and Fruity Pebbles& milk) with Caviar (I highly recommend Caviar it was fast and it has free delivery and discount for new users) the fries was delicious but not as crispy as fresh. The burger was indescribable!!! It was fantastic!!! Juicy, cheesy with fresh buns and generous amount of bacon. I highly recommend it.
Among the Bomboloniās I was very exited for Fruity Pebbles& milk but I donāt recommend that :/ but I highly recommend Cheery Cheese Cake and Lemon Meringue because the combination of citric flavor and the creamy, fluffy texture makes them a unique experience that you cannot find else where. I wish they didnāt sugar coat their donuts!

Iāve seen many people post this location and decided to give it a shot! Though, we had already ate and wasnāt hungry for some doughnuts I got a hot chocolate and my partner a gelato cookie sandwich. We both like it! It was very delicious! Next time weāre sure trying the doughnuts! Staff helped me out as it was my first time ordering and helped me create my order. Overall an above average dessert joint. Slightly on the pricey side but you pay for quality here!

I love this place. Why have a Hot Chocolate when you can have a S'more HOTTER CHOCOLATE! Their Hot"ter" chocolate is the crazy stacking of sweet (your doctor & dentist don't recommend) things, and wow, was it a great experience and drink!
Good news, they have recently installed a sheltered booth outside the hole in the rock, so you don't need to think twice about queuing, instagramming, and drinking this baby in the freezing windy Chicago winter weather!
Can't wait to visit them against!

Donuts were fresh and delicious. The gelato was perfect. I do wish however that it was clear in the google listing for the business that the location was just a walk up window with no seating. It wasnāt the end of the world but wasnāt expected. Bombolini were worth it!

Known for their hot chocolate and delicious bombolonis, Bombobar is a small ice cream, gelato and coffee shop near Fulton market. We tried the classic hot chocolate and build your owns. The build your own let's you pick the base chocolate and from a variety of toppings.

The idea of this place is what took us there for my birthday. The prices are WAY to high for what you get but it is the theme and the experience you are paying for I guess. We have gone, seen and tasted now we probably won't go again. The young lady at the window was super nice and helped us to pick and order and also gave me a free donut for my birthday. We enjoyed our treats but took the mini donut and cookie in a to go back to avoid a sugar attack. Overall, it is worth going for a special treat on a special day.
