Bombobar

I've visited this place a couple of times. To be begin with, it is a bit overpriced for shakes. Also, they do have some flavourful and unique gelato flavors. We came to hang out in this area because it's in the Fulton Market area and I wanted to go to some bars/restaurant in the area. Bombobar is a pretty cozy space that is built from extending the side of an adjacent restaurant. The area is a big tent, but feels pretty cozy. To order the food, there's a window kinda like take out that places and calls out your order. My friend got the s'mores one and I got the vanilla cream custard bombiloni. Both were so good! For the taste, the actual bombiloni was warm and soft yet chewy- just like the Italian deal. For the presentation, both of them came in a cute box with a hole in the middle to hold the large pipette (the filling of the bombiloni was held in the pipette and you can squeeze it to DIY and add filling vs. already having the filling squeezed in usually which makes it fun! The s'mores one was so pretty with a huge marshmallow and chocolate drizzles. There was also a bar table of seating that could maybe seat 10 so it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy. The hot chocolate and other items also looked really good. Recommend for a unique take on this Italian donut and for a fun but quick snack.

Bombobar's has the most authentic tasting Italian Gelato I've tasted in quite a while. My dog 🐕 and I just finished hiking through the West Loop farmer's 🚜 market nearby and needed some shade, water and Gelato. Clearly they know their gelato...blows away the competition and I'm extremely picky with ice cream 🍦 and Gelato. Just order some at the window, take a seat outside and enjoy their throbbing dance music 🎶 that streams non stop.

If you are craving a cup of rich hot chocolate with an array of your favorite toppings, this is the place you want to be in. Known for their hot chocolate and delicious bombolonis, Bombobar is a small ice cream, gelato and coffee shop near Fulton market. We tried the classic hot chocolate and build your owns. The build your own let's you pick the base chocolate and from a variety of toppings.

Really cool spot for dessert. The idea of going to a side window at a restaurant is a dope concept! We got the s’mores and Nutella bombolonies which were awesome. Think we preferred the Nutella one but they were both really good. Highly recommend this spot! Went at 2:30pm on a Friday and there was no line

The idea of this place is what took us there for my birthday. The prices are WAY to high for what you get but it is the theme and the experience you are paying for I guess. We have gone, seen and tasted now we probably won't go again. The young lady at the window was super nice and helped us to pick and order and also gave me a free donut for my birthday. We enjoyed our treats but took the mini donut and cookie in a to go back to avoid a sugar attack. Overall, it is worth going for a special treat on a special day.

I’ve seen many people post this location and decided to give it a shot! Though, we had already ate and wasn’t hungry for some doughnuts I got a hot chocolate and my partner a gelato cookie sandwich. We both like it! It was very delicious! Next time we’re sure trying the doughnuts! Staff helped me out as it was my first time ordering and helped me create my order. Overall an above average dessert joint. Slightly on the pricey side but you pay for quality here!
