The Holy City Cupcakes

Fantastic food and staff! We were in Charleston for a few days and stopped in this morning for breakfast on our way out of town. It was a little bit busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our food, which they brought to our table when it was ready. The food was awesome- I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was SO GOOD. Definitely not a cheap place to eat but the price is well worth it, and they don't skimp out on the fillings- I could've easily split my breakfast sandwich with someone. The dining area was also very clean. Not only was the food great, but the staff was also phenomenal, particularly the person working the cash register with cool jewelry that called everyone "friend". The moment I walked in, I could instantly feel the good vibes they were giving off and creating in the cafe. Well-spoken, courteous, and kind, they were a great face of the establishment. To that employee: you're awesome, you deserve a raise, and I wish you all the happiness in the world. I will definitely be coming back if I'm ever in Charleston again!

One of the best bagels I've had in Charleston. The texture of the bread was good, the pastrami was plentiful, and the jalapeno cheddar bagel was delicious. I ordered online for pickup as this restaurant is very busy on weekends. There is a small parking lot across the street for Holey City customers. The iced latte I ordered was also good.

I love this place!! Ate there twice on our 9 days trip. I could have went everyday!! The cream cheese is so good and so many flavors!! The coffee drinks are fabulous also. I had the Asiago Cheese bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese and added bacon, another day I had the plain bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam. Both were amazing, and we got several varieties to go also. The macchiato was also great!! 10 out 10 recommend. See y’all next year!!

There’s a parking lot across the street for this shop specifically which is awesome, so you don’t have to fight for parking or walk far at all. Ordered my bagel online, and they had it ready on time. The pickup rack is towards the back of the shop. I got the rosemary salt bagel with veggie cream cheese. Will definitely be visiting again!

I was in the mood for an everything bagel with cream cheese on Saturday & this hit the spot. I went around noon and was worried they would be sold out, but they still had all bagel flavors available, except one. My boyfriend got the holey city, which was a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The restaurant is small and crowded but it seems like most people take their food to go. We ended up taking ours to go, but we didn’t have a problem finding a table while we waited. Overall, a good experience.
