South Of Philly Pizzeria

It's ok. Close to home, quick delivery, and decent food. The only draw back to this place is the staff is hit or miss as far as friendly goes. One of the girls that answers the phone is helpful and friendly, but the other one is way more interested in hanging out and not being bothered by work. Another downfall is the restaurant must be a bit older because it is very rundown and dirty looking inside. If I only ever ordered delivery and never saw the inside I would give 5 ☆

Their calzones and pizza rolls are top notch and priced pretty good for the quantity of food you get. Their sandwiches are decent as well. We live a block away so we have eatin almost everything on their menu over the past year. No complaints at all on the food. (the store could be updated/cleaned some but not a deal breaker). Over all this a pretty good restraunt to order from.

Ordered a pizza and a side. We received everything in a timely fashion, however, tye order was incorrect for the side. I called back and they gave me a credit for the side that had been incorrect. We always want a great experience but it is always great to see what someone will do in a time where customer service is required to right a minor mistake. Very much appreciated and we will be ordering pizza a ton from here now. It was delicious!

Super delicious! Very pleasant and employees are super respectful and welcoming! Was our first time here from Myrtle beach/wilmy area! Not only are they just welcoming, they are very attentive when they don’t have to be. This is a laid back restaurant and a great family place. Will definitely be back!

I've been a customer of South of Philly Pizzeria for a little over 2 years now and coming from just north of Philadelphia PA, I've got to say that finding a GREAT pizza joint down here in Charleston was no trivial task. That said, I've ordered from South of Philly probably twice a month (or more) consistently since moving to the West Ashley a few years ago. I move next month and I'm really not looking forward to finding a new place to get my pizza from. Bottom line, this place has fantastic pizza comparable to just about any pizza you'd get in the northeast. My go to order is a large pepperoni with an order of 6 Zepps (highly recommend the Zepps as a delicious alternative to garlic gnots). A note to management if you happen to read my review... I've been ordering your pepperoni's pizzas for a while now and I'm going to be honest, the recent change to the pepperoni's themselves is not a welcome one. Not sure if it's a new supplier or just mixing things up, but the old pepperoni's were way better. The food and customer service at this place are both amazing! My wife and I just ate here for the first time and loved it. The pizza was perfect and I would highly recommend the "zepps" (fried dough with any number of toppings), especially the Rachel's Way dessert ones! Be prepared for large portions, and don't expect "traditional" Italian food. You will not be disappointed!
