Charley's Cheesesteaks at Citadel Mall is the very best place in the Charleston area to get a phenomenal cheesesteak! Always cooked fresh and hot on the grill when they take your order. The people that work there are friendly and professional! Love this place!

I’ve been going to Charleys Philly Steaks Located in the Citadel mall on 2070 Sam Rittenburg blvd, Charleston SC, 29407 for over a year, and this is by far my favorite place to go to get one of the best Philly steak subs I’ve ever had. The employees here are respectful and have always done me good; I’m the food quality is off the chains, and the drinks, especially the signature lemonades are bomb! Y’all keep up the good work, thank you for all you do, and I’m more than happy to give y’all my business every time I’m in the mall. Till next time.

Ok. For real. The guy at night singing Spanish love songs is the man. He's funny, engaging and a pleasure to be around. It was all I could do not to try and steal him for my job.
Never had a bad experience with the people here but tonight was the best. Between the friendly young man on the grill and my singing friend Jose; because he "has friends not customers". Tonight couldn't be beat. I know what a challenge it can be to find great staff. The hiring manager for this location has their ish together.
