Delightful and Delicious! The bacon, egg & cheddar on a pretzel bus is as yummy as it is cute! And the blueberry cheese pastry is perfection - flaky and sweet with just the right amount of crunch.
You know that you are in a working bakery when they have a "wanted" sign in the window asking for help coming in at 4 am. A cozy place that smells, looks, and feels like a bakery.
Country Batard, croissants, and sandwiches looked fabulous and tasted so much better than anything you can buy at a grocery store. The bread has plenty of fine pores, a wonderful shape with a taste on the lighter, less sour and more wheaty side. The bread was stored after the first day in a plastic bag at room temperature and when toasted was still delicious 5 days later. The croissant was one of the largest and heaviest I ever had and good in taste. That said, I prefer smaller, more buttery and flaky croissants.
I apologize for the 4 stars. Compared to grocery store bread this is at least on a 6 star level, but for decades I lived in Europe and compared to those breads, the bread was slightly overbaked and the croissant was missing lamination.
Got a Hawaiin sweet loaf of bread. Made the perfect addition to a soup night! Perfect bread bowl! Will definitely be back to get more in the future!

Delicious local bakery, we have been going here for years. The bread is yummy and on point. I love the casual, local and warm feeling I get here. We typically bike here using the Greenway and it makes for a enjoyable weekend treat. There is also a library across the street that we take the kids after they finish their breakfast. If we don't have the kids, we like to walk around and see the shops. Great shopping center and free parking.
Reasonably priced fresh baked goods. Feels like a bakery that’s still in the 70s based on the music playlist, light fixtures, hard yellow booths and laminated wood wall paneling.

I've been traveling all over the greater Charleston area sampling croissants to see who has the best, and Normandy has made it to my top 3 picks. I would recommend their chocolate croissant, and I really enjoyed the big soft pretzel I got too.
They came through with wonderful chocolate croissants which I had promised my daughter. Very helpful and super friendly. You also have to get their sourdough, yummy. I keep giving them 5 stars but it only shows 4, needs to be 5!
Wonderful dessert case, never really been disappointed here. I love the spinach salad too, and the Italian Panini. Have a slice of quiche and a cup of coffee for a nice brunch snack. Part of a cute shopping center so you can check out some makeup clothes antiques and a pet store on an easy day
