My parents and I loved our food and the service. I genuinely loved the Chicken Kotopoulo and the Greek potatoes. My stomach felt so calm and relaxed afterwards. Will definitely come back when I am in town.

I've been coming to Athens since 1987. I try new Greek restaurants from time to time and nothing ever compares to the authenticity here! I recommend a glass of Retsina or a shot of Ouzo before your meal.
The Gyro Platter was remarkable! And the Greek dressing on my salad was still the same deliciousness as thirty years ago. I would have liked more feta on the salad. There was only one kalamata olive, one peppercini, one small slice of tomato,and one small slice of cucumber.
I gave it four stars instead of five because of the need for a good dusting, and a scrub-down of the walls and floors. In addition, my cloth napkin had crumbs on it, like they rolled the silverware on a dirty table.
I would still recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants large portions of delicious food.
This place isn't too flashy when you walk in, and I was a bit skeptical but the food is amazing!! I recommend anything with grilled chicken, and the potatoes they make are citrusy and delicious! Great service too, and very nice staff, not too busy either
The best thing about Athens is the Greek food cooked by authentic Greeks from Greece. One of the Greek owners is always present to oversee the operation. They have been in business over 40 years.
Transports you to an old world of family recipes w/ delightful background music; downsized from their 40yr restaurant to take-out items, a hole in the wall gem. Mezes Platter perfect pork & gyro for two w/ side salad and Galaktobureko custard dessert to die for!!!! Enjoy!!!
Definitely worth going. Hummus we started with was delicious, came with great warm pita.
Ordered "dinner for two"... I think they mean two lumberjacks; it was huge! Sides and sauces were especially good.
Service was quick and pleasant. Owner stopped by a couple times and seemed to care.
Ate this delicious treat for dessert.

Great wine selection, super fresh salads, and everything off the grill is amazing! If you're on James Island, you need to eat here.
I got one entree for take out and I was impressed with the generous portions and wonderful taste of the food. Not only did I have a great lunch but it will be my lunch tomorrow as well so what a value. Very fresh Greek food which is exactly what I was looking for. No greasy food that makes you need to sleep for a week!
Found this cute place on Google today for lunch. We had the spanakopita appetizer which was the perfect size and delicious. For our main entrees we had the gyro and gyro platter. The gyros were delicious and well complimented by the tzatziki sauce. The owner stopped by to check on us which was niceS. Our waitress was excellent! Will definitely return again.
