Ladles Soups James Island

This place is awesome! We each tried 3 different flavors of soup and they were all very delicious. Plus everyone else's plates of sandwhiches all looked amazing. My very picky child loved their delicious cheeseburger. At the end of the night as they were closing down...instead of throwing out the leftover soup they offered 2 extra bowls to us patrons complimentary. We are definitely coming back to try the sandwhiches and salads next! The bathrooms were clean, the restaurant was clean and welcoming and the prices were very reasonable. My favorite restaurant in Charleston!

Every soup that I've had here has been great. A couple of them are exceptional actually. The price for the portions are perfect. Place looks clean & employees have been nice. Edit: There prices are inconsistent; A sandwich with a soup add on is 2/2.50 upcharge & 1/2 sandwhiches are around the $4 mark) however my total was $9. It should've been 6-7 even the person who rung me up was confused & their updated menus aren't posted anywhere online as well.

I ate Greek lemon chicken soup and strawberry mozzarella salad on this my second time here. I think the the staff is terrific at helping customer make informed healthy choices, the prices are low, and the food is spectacular! Hot weather and delicious warm soup in an air conditioned setting with a cold salad. Heaven on earth today! I recommend this location near Folly Beach, Janes Island. They have a pick up window if you order out.

Ladles is usually a favorite of mine; however, the menu recently changed to where you no longer receive 8oz soup with your meal! Just a side of bread. This was my favorite part when ordering my favorite salads! There was no price change to reflect this (possibly increase in some prices actually!) and when questioned about the new changes the employee said the soup you used to get with it was much smaller than 8oz anyway and to just pay the 2-2.50$ up charge for the soup addition now. The soup included in the past actually was 8oz, which can be found on their old menus as well. Still like ladles, just a bummer.
