We had a wonderful delicious breakfast here this morning. The food was very tasty and healthy, the service was fast, and our waitress was very courteous and friendly. Highly recommend!

Nate is an incredibly talented and creative chef, who delivers consistently delectable, innovative, and nutrient-dense menu offerings. He is also an incredibly kind and gracious human being. Because of Nate's holistic approach to healthy nutrition and life, hospitality and customer service are paramount, which reminds me of the Charleston and West Ashley I grew up in.
My mom and I are regulars at The Gathering, and we look forward to creative specials, as well the regular menu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner have all been equally delicious. The "Be an Artist" section allows me to mix/match healthful veggie options and add on various protein options if I want.
From a professional perspective (I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist [RDN] with a PhD in Nutrition), The Gathering is the #1 Charleston restaurant I believe best embodies healthy eating, as the substantial menu boasts a diverse selection of low-calorie and nutrient-dense offerings, with a clear emphasis on plant-based dietary patterns, but also with plenty of great non-vegetarian protein options too. And great taste is never compromised. Healthy never tasted this good!

Came in to check out this spot in downtown Summerville. Street Parking. Cute lil spot. All kinds of doors. Lunch in the sunroom was good. Good healthy side options. Good food. Flies keeping things lively! Pics of salmon w/ M&C & kale & a Turkey wrap. Will be back to try some other dishes. 😃
Just wonderful! Brought my vegan wife here and options were plenty. I also tried gluten free macaroni and it surprised me. We will definitely be back.
So glad to have found this place for lunch while in town for a work trip! Fresh, tasty & healthy fare. Helpful, kind staff. Lovely indoor/outdoor seating area as well, filled with tons of natural light. Free parking garage right next door too.
The Gathering in Summerville, South Carolina was a delicious experience. The food was wonderful and I look forward to going there again.

Kayla was so great. The food was perfect! Great prices it's more than vegetables ... they also have great protein options. My husband got the steak and it was cooked perfectly. I got the Buddha bowl. I can't wait to try everything on the menu
Surprisingly good with nice fresh veggies, ordered four plates today. (1)The green goddess bowl was my fav, served warm, with a very nice balanced flavor. (2)Teriyaki bowl with chicken was tasty, if a tiny bit salty (still less salty than all the local hibachi places), the mushrooms were the best part. (3)The avocado toast had fresh tomatoes and a lot of capers. (4)The steak wrap was served cold, the horseradish was good, it came with soup or salad (tomato soup pictured). All and all we would visit again. It was a bit pricey, as the proteins are an add-on to the bowls, but worth it for the fresh veggies and general good quality/flavor. The indoor seating was a bit stuffy today in the cooler rainy weather since the AC was not running and they did not have any fans.
Summerville needed a place like this!
Finally feels like I have a place to go when I'm trying to be more health conscious.
The tomato soup tasted like it was just out of their garden. The wrap was a bit dry and could have used a bit more sauce. The sante Fe bowl was super flavorful but that shrimp were overcooked.
First time here and I'm definitely going to be back.
What a delicious meal. My wife is vegan and I am vegetarian. The menu was fantastic and the food was fresh and plenty flavorful. So good! We will be back.
I’m so excited to find this restaurant. It checks all the boxes for vegan entrees, care taken for allergies when preparing food, sustainable practices and a friendly clean happy environment. They have wonderful, delicious options for everyone. I’m with my non vegan boyfriend and he’s very pleased with his entree. I ordered the curry and he ordered the green goddess. Both were very delicious. I am going to get the tiramisu to go. Never had it buts it’s vegan as well. They offer beer on tap and mimosas for breakfast. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are in the Charleston area. It’s well worth the trip. I was served by Jason who was very kind and knowledgeable. They offer online take out for those needing a quick meal. Check it out.
An exceptional selection of vegan and gluten free options. The food is light but filling, it's made quickly and tastes great! The building is odd with multiple doors to reach indoor seating but it's comfortable and the people are happy to help!
