Ben & Jerry's

This place is amazing. I want to give a shout out to May. She went out of her way last night to provide me with a safe way to get awesome ice cream. Top notch customer service. Owners/managers take note, great product is one thing, exceptional customer service from a kind young woman, puts your business over the top. If I were you, I would do whatever it took to keep May on board.

This is my FAVORITE Ice Cream to buy at the supermarket, so when I came to visit Charleston, I had to come here. I got Half Baked (best Ben & Jerry flavored Ice Cream by the way). It was so good 😋☺️. I wish I had a Ben & Jerry’s where I lived, but then again that might be dangerous... I’ll just have to stick with getting it from the supermarket out of the freezers🤷🏻‍♀️. Great place though!

I stopped into this Ben and Jerry's on a cool March day, so the store was not too crowded. It's WAY cheaper to buy this ice cream at the grocery store, so I only get it at the scoop shop a handful of times each year. Plus, the flavor I like (cookies and cream) is not sold at the super market! My common complaint is how small the sundaes are for the expensive cost. However, I felt like the portion size here was a bit bigger and I like that it was served in a larger container so it would be less messy to eat. I was in and out of here fairly quickly and the people working here were polite. This scoop shop is not too far from the City Market. My husband enjoyed the candy/nut store next door.

I've never been to a Ben and Jerry's, nor do I eat the ice cream so I came with an open mind. There were three staff members working. There was a short line when my party (of 3) arrived, and it grow quickly. The staff were able to handle the line, and deliver quality service. I did not notice a public bathroom inside, the building is rather narrow. There is no inside seating, but there is a nice outdoor seating area. There was some landscaping which seemed nice and relaxing. Large trees and the buildings around the outdoor seats gave a lot of shade during that time (about 4 pm). If I find myself in that area of Charleston, I'll revisit.
