My wife and I went here on our honeymoon recently (we were trying out all of the local breakfast spots). When I say that this place is a must-visit while in Charleston, I mean that sincerely.
I had the Carolina Scramble and she had the Sweet Potato Benedict; we both legitimately still have dreams about that food. And then we split a goat cheese French toast for dessert..... we were in heaven.
The staff was so attentive and caring, they treated us like family and were always smiling and kind. The interior was covered in drawings that customers have done on their placemats. It had such a neat vibe to it that really pulled the whole experience together. You could really tell they valued what they sold.
Beautiful building with plants and art surrounding you, taking you into a little wormhole as soon as you step in the place. Amazing food, decent prices, fast and friendly service. Would come again! I got the black beans Benedict and a coffee. Delicious! They were on top of refilling my coffee mug too which I really appreciate.
Excellent place for breakfast.

This was the best breakfast we have ever had in Charleston, SC. The atmosphere, the staff, and the food were all incredible. The food tasted like someone has been crafting the recipes for years to feed others hearts. So glad we stumbled upon this place on our way out of town. Such an amazing was to end our trip!
Delicious brunch! The avocado omelet, home style fries, and sweet potato biscuits were amazing. Don’t let the oatmeal fool you, it might look simple but the slight honey sweetness set it over the top. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, especially the French toast - we want to come back to try more! Bonus - they bring your check out on a Dr. Seuss book! Highly recommended!
Small cafe with a great number of breakfast options as well as a few lunch specials. Friendly staff, quick service, and decent prices. Shrimp and grits were fantastic but I'll be back to try some of the breakfast options!
This is a cute restaurant with an artistic atmosphere. The whole vibe is very eclectic from the menu selections to the dishes to the children’s books used for check out. The staff are laid back but very efficient and unobtrusive. The food (all made fresh!!) was great with generous portions. The space is small with additional seating outside. So there may be a line but definitely worth the wait!! They serve breakfast and lunch. We go every time we are in town and highly recommend you give them a try.
I ordered apple cinnamon pancakes, coffee, and a side of sausage. The pancakes were soft and fluffy with apple bits sprinkled on. They were the perfect amount of sweetness. The coffee was strong but not bitter. And the service was impeccable.
The cafe itself has good vibes with amazing artwork on the walls. I am definitely going to come back.
Such a cute atmosphere! We sat outside and there are fans and a tarp so no worries on being uncomfortable while eating. The waiters looked happy and genuine. Our server was Anna and she was on top of things. Food was good. I wasn’t a huge fan on the omelette with spinach, ham, and cheese (primarily bc of the cheese and it was over loaded with ham IMO) but I still enjoyed most of the omelette. Would definitely come back. Grits are a must in this establishment.
From out of town, a friend and I had a delightful breakfast. This place is a true jewel, with real character and local people. The service was friendly and the menu offers classics but also healthy choices. Our food -- a veggie burrito and eggs Benedict - were delicious. This establishment deserves support over chain eateries!
