The food at Wickliffe is really good. I have enjoyed both their smash burgers and Cobb salad. The prices are fair for the size portions, and it’s nice having a good place to eat so close to the medical district. While they are really good, they certainly aren’t my favorite sandwich restaurant in town.

My daughters wedding was held here and I can not say enough about the way things were done and handled by the venue. Our florist showed up very late and was unable to fulfill her duties and they all stepped in and did everything they could to get the job done and were willing to go above and beyond to make my daughter and son in law happy. The venue is cozy and charming , the food was good. They did an amazing job. Kate was our coordinator and she is wonderful! They made everything turn out perfect!

We had the most wonderful experience at The Wickliffe House in Charleston. Sass Franklin and her team went above and beyond to make the wedding day so special. The presentation of the food was amazing and almost every guest said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. I planned this from out of town and felt so comfortable in knowing that everything was taken care of. My budget was respected and honored and I got more than I would have ever imagined. I think it's the most beautiful and reasonable wedding venue in town. The day of the wedding, everything went seamless, the flow was perfect and every person working there had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy being there. I couldn't have been happier!!

Had a nice lunch here with an old friend. The space is beautifully restored and inviting. I had a delicious Chicken Ceasar Salad that was big enough to enjoy for two meals.

I've eaten lunch here a few times. The food is great and the staff is friendly. This is a really quaint old house turned into a restaurant and the menu is unique. The prices seem like a lot for lunch but the portion sizes are very generous. I always have left overs. I'll be back again

Not a bad lunch. Simple french dip and a bag o' chips. The house is a reason to go. Lunch hours are not firm, first time I walked up to door they were already closed at 2:00pm with a note saying they had an event. Would've been fine if I had not just walked past the sandwich board out front that said they were open till 3 pm.

Amazingly fast service. Beautiful old venue. Order at the counter. The French dip is so good. Some items seem slightly overpriced but everything on the menu is usually good. Fun, chill atmosphere. And their over-the-top cookies are delish!

I don't see it on the info, but lunch hours are weekdays 11am-3pm, you can find the menu on their site. Pretty good place for a light lunch. Ordered the French Dip and enjoyed it, every time. Salads were pretty good as well, and decently portioned.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Wickliffe House on March 25. The experience was beyond outstanding from the time we toured the space through our big day. I have been planning with Jeri, the event coordinator, for over 2 years and cannot say enough good things about her. She has been very detail-oriented, professional, friendly, responsive, and above all, has been a major advocate for helping us to achieve our vision for our reception and for keeping things close to budget. The ability to utilize the gorgeous venue and tables/chairs for our station-style reception of 100 people was perfect. On top of the venue itself and its charm, we were totally wowed by the quality and taste of the food. Jeri and the chef helped us design a French-inspired European menu with 4 stations. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. I also loved our experience during our tasting a couple of months ago. The layout for the stations on the day of our wedding was classy and creative. In terms of the execution of our wedding day, our ceremony (which took place outside facing the house) and the reception (mostly inside), we could not have done it without Tonia. The organization of the evening was seamless and the staff/bartenders were incredible. Everything went smoothly and we will cherish the experience forever. The next day we had Wickliffe cater our brunch at the hotel (you get a 20% discount on 2nd wedding event catering) and the smoked salmon, deviled egg, fruit, cheese, etc trays were a big hit. If you are getting married in Charleston, the Wickliffe House is a must!
