Duckies is great. The salads are outstanding. Definitely all around good fish, salads, and service. And I feel lucky when Victor is there to take my order.

Can't comment about seafood or chowder as my kid just needed a hotdog and we were parked in a 30 minute spot. He liked his hotdog which was split and grilled. Nice open atmosphere right near the Cayucos Pier. Friendly staff even on a busy day (Black Friday) around lunchtime. We beat the rush but looked as though seats were in short supply by the time we left.

I've been here a half dozen times and have always left very satisfied. Really good food, good beer selection, and reasonable prices considering the location. 100% will eat here when in town.

Favorite place in Cayucos. The blackened fish bowl is amazing, the chowder (both kinds) top notch, and the fish and chips are excellent. The salads not amazing but everything else so good I just don't care. Highly recommend and will always go back there.

We ate here 3x on our 4-day trip. What brought us back? Healthy menu items overall, high quality food in casual atmosphere next to Cayucos pier. My friend said best chowder & I loved the crab melt! Efficient & friendly service. After eating a nice walk on the pier ended a lovely evening.
(Same owner as Dorn's restaurant in MorroBay, which is a white tablecloth fine dining experience always has excellent food & service too.)

Loved the fresh seafood. The fish tacos were great. The fish and chips were a crowd pleaser with a fluffy light batter that was not overly greasy. The shrimp cocktail tasted amazing, even my toddler wanted to eat it. All around one of my favorite places to eat.

Good food right next to the pier. Clam chowder in the bread bowl $11. Kids Hamburger and fries $8.50, seating is a little tight at lunch time.

Right off the pier, this place is amazing. I had a bowl of the white clay chowder. This was amazing with a hearty portion of meat in it. My friend got it Nolan style (croutons & bacon), but it was unnecessary. The Chowder speaks for itself.
Also some fish and chips. This is a top 5 best fish and chips for me! Great crispy breading with a hearty, perfectly cooked filet inside. Tarter sauce....maybe the best. It had well portioned amount of fresh fill in it that created a freshness in the dish.
Finally, the fish tacos. This was very artisinal. The fish was cooked perfectly. It came with a hearty portion of vegetables and salsa. I would 100% have them again.
