Cayucos Sausage

Excellent sausages!! Their ground breakfast sausage is incredible and makes our homemade breakfast burritos epic. Love the Irish sausages too as well as the Coastal Italians. Well worth the drive over the hill. They really know what they’re doing and are really nice & welcoming folks. Still need to try their sandwiches & tequila mustard. Thank you, Cayucos Sausage Company, for feeding our family such high quality & tasty meats! 😻

We brought back 3 or 4 different sausages from here and they were all top quality and just simply had a better texture than about anything you would find at the grocery. Also the lady that owns the place loves dogs and posts one a day to the companies socials.and they make a simple pork and cranberry dog treat that all four of our dogs loved ( gsd,Yorkie,multipo,and Frenchie). Highly recommend for the dog owners and sausage lovers alike.

Excited to stop by to check out Cayucos Sausage Co. in Cayucos 😋 We bought the Tri-tip sandwich it was listed as the daily special! We also bought a couple of the homemade sausages Irish & jalapeño we haven’t eaten them yet. They also make sandwiches, ones that you can choose the type of bread, meat, cheese and toppings 😋and any special instructions. Maybe you prefer to get you bread or roll toasted🥪! The tri tip was so tender and tasty, it had a chipotle spread on it that added a nice combo with the roll. I would definitely come back and order any of the sandwiches! Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We stopped here while vacationing in Avila Beach. I'm a big sausage fan, so I just had to try it. We bought 1lb each of five different sausages. So far I have eaten the Swiss and the Irish. They were both great! I don't have a favorite yet. It looks like we will have to schedule another trip from San Diego to Cayucos soon to stock up on more sausage.

They've been in their new location on Main St. for the last 10 months. For previous 18 years they were located behind the grocery store. Call ahead for sausage orders, or to find out what is on hand. Also remember that they make sandwiches. Great little hidden gem, that is now easier than ever to find. Give them a try.
