Absolutely amazing!! The quality of the food was fresh and filling! Everything I tasted was phenomenal and the bill was not expensive!! It's a great fancy place to treat yourself!! It is going to be my go-to restaraunt

Nice restaurant with some items that were a new twist for us. The deviled eggs prepared 3 ways were an interesting take on this dish and the flavors were vibrant and worked well together. The steaks were very good, on par with a steakhouse. Conveniently located within the Drury Inn Plaza hotel it was an enjoyable dining experience.

I’m very fond of The Southerner. The brussel sprouts are made with bacon and onion, the savory flavor smells and tastes amazing. The meatloaf is really good too. I did not take a photo of the meatloaf of brussel sprouts, but I did get a photo of the Crispy Fried Pickle slabs. They were delicious. The catering here is great too. Definitely check this place out.

On New Years Eve, several friends and I decided to go out to eat to celebrate the new year. We were all extremely pleased with the meals and the service at The Southerner. We all ordered a variety of items from the menu and all the food was awesome! Our waitress was very friendly, informative and never had to ask for a refills. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going there again. It was well worth the hour drive!

Nichole was our server she was amazing! 10/10 would recommend. She was very knowledgeable about what the menu consisted of and all of the food was amazing. The drinks were divine along with dessert!! I would say this was the best dining experience I have had in cape girardeau by far. Everything was very delicious and the service was over the top!

Today was the frist time we have ever ate at southerners! It was a date night for my girlfrind and me. We had a great appetizer and a great meal and birthday dessert after which amazing! Everything had so much flavor! Our sever Nichol was the best sever I have ever had! She knew her menu very! She could tell me everything that went into our food to the brine I was in before. She is absolutely the best and take supper well care of her tables! The restaurant get 5 stars and Nicole get 6 stars
