An established and quality place, great clientele, people of many races, and of great conversations. I've had several dishes, all were tasty, The pine is the only place I can find that has an expresso martinis close by. My only issue is that I'm becoming a regular. I've had the same bartender 4 out of 5 times. The one time I had a different bartender, I was given a complimentary salad and breads with my meal. On the 5th time, I asked said," bartender if it's routine to receive a salad." The bartender said yes,,,, 4 times he never gave me a salad !! When I asked, he said he's been swarmed and extremely busy. Damn, the other bartender definitely paid attention to detail and made time for me. I definitely gave a bigger tip cause I felt special, being that I had never gotten a salad. It's still a very nice vibe in the pine. It's an old name and quality.
Had a reservation for 6:45pm and wasn't seated until an hour later. Saturday gets really packed by large parties. The host, Marco, kept checking in until a table cleared up. Several different servers stopped by my table, I guess, because how busy it was.
The food was worth the wait. Authentic Italian cuisine. Will return on a less busier day.
Great place. On the pricey side but the plates are generous. The drinks were well made. Me and my party of 8 waited by the bar and had drinks and apps while waiting. The ambience is great. They have parking out back but only with attendant services.
We use to eat here with my husband when we lived close by…we come back today with my daughter.
She ordered to the stuffed chicken parm, the portion is huge I mean huge,I have my dinner too. Flavors for me not a same as before,don’t get me wrong food still good.
What didn’t change and I love the restaurant atmosphere…wall panting, bricks and the the music,very classic.
Very good service. Food is good. Very large dishes. Love all the NY baseball pics and Saprano pics on the walls!
If you’re ever in NY make sure you stop here…..this is what customer service should be and what great food is supposed to taste like! The chef is on point…I had the seafood risotto and all the ingredients were fresh and plentiful. The red sangria was perfect!!! Keep up the great service!

Red Snapper was a beautiful and delicious plate! Service was top notch. Beautiful Saturday night atmosphere for a birthday celebration.
The atmosphere - so very welcoming! Shout out to Marco! It was the weekend so it's busy. Party of 5, so we chilled at the bar while we waited on our table. Seated in about 20 minutes. Hector, our server was amazing!! The drinks were great, and the food was absolutely delicious!😋
I'll be back for sure!!
This is easily 1 of my favorite places to eat. The food is amazing, and large portions. As someone who always orders extra food ( i like leftovers), my only complaint would be the table wasn't big enough to hold all we ordered 😅
Update Dec. 2023 - Downgraded my food and service rating. While the food was tasty some of our dishes came out not hot. Service was slow and spotty. It's possible they were short handed but was not as good as usual or expected.
Always good. Service is wonderful and food is amazing.
Update: went to the pines while visiting. They never disapoint. Great meal as alway.
