City Island Lobster House

I have traveled far and wide literally just to eat and explore new places and cultures.With that, I feel confident saying City Island Lobster is the best Seafood restaurant and overall the best service. I haven't been here for years, and it hasn't changed, a little outdated except for the outdoor dining, I don't think it was there last time I was here. Welcomed addition to the location, the food and the service were great, a little pricey but worth it. Eating outdoors was great , the view of the marina made this a great experience. When you arrive they serve you a house salad and garlic bread courtesy of the house, we shared the mussels on a red sauce, it was excellent, my wife ordered shrimp Parmigian, it looked delicious and she really enjoyed it, I had the lobster clambake, very reasonably priced, although it was served with only a couple of clams and mussels and let's not forget the corn on the cob, this course started with a delicious New England clam showder . Definitely worth it

Funny enough I do not eat seafood. My experiences at the Lobster House have always been postive throughout multiple visits spanning a decade. Restaurant is accessible by boat if your out on the water great place to dock and visit. For land lovers they have excellent traditional Italian dishes. Best chicken franchise I've ever had. The seafood has been noted as topnotch from family/friends that have accompanied. Service was friendly and engaging. We meet the owner who 100% involved in operation and gathering dining experience feedback. Looking forward to my next visit.

I have to say I love Lobster House, it is my favorite restaurant in City Island. My company and I are always received with a great smile and a warm welcome. The food is always on point. Well seasoned and full of awesome flavors. The only problem I have is that my most favorite fish (sea bass) was removed from the menu. I always bragged about how amazing it was made (melted like butter in my mouth). I'm disappointed in that it's no longer served here, but anything else I choose always leaves me fully satisfied. I highly recommend you eat here if you haven't yet done so.
