Not really happy with my breakfast. For a $12 breakfast sandwich you would think it would be scrambled and cooked on a grill..... my eggs were definitely microwaved, they had air bubbles... disappointed. If the eggs were cooked on the grill it would've made this sandwich 10x better. The bread and cheese were good. The eggs just sucked!

For $12 you'd think your eggs wouldn't be cooked in a coffee mug in the microwave, but here we are. Don't try and tell me they weren't either. Undeniable. Cheese was good.

Arrived a little after 8AM. We ordered breakfast. I was a little hesitant to order Belgium waffles. Other places where I've eaten them are so dry that I end adding syrup on almost every bite and drinking. The waffle here turned out to be moist and delicious 😋. In addition the fruit topping with the optional whip cream added a burst of healthy and flavorful meal. My wife ordered the farmers plate. Came with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, and red peppers.
Overall, a great casual place offering a gormet assorted menu of sandwiches, platters, pastries, salads and more. All of these, served by a friendly staff and the place is oceanfront on the boardwalk. The food is prepared by a super friendly staff. It is worth the money.

This place used to be one of my favorite places to get lunch, the food was delicious and it was unique with good size portions. I am here one week a summer and make a point to get the shrimp salad sandwich during that week. Today I tried to call in an order which they said they don’t take phone orders I had to do it on their website. I tried to get on their site and it didn’t work, so I called back and someone took my order -which was very easy-over the phone,, I was told 20 minutes. I arrived after 20 minutes and was told by staff 5 more minutes…during that time (which amounted more to 15 minutes) I realized no one was even making my sandwiches. So I approached the manager who said “give me ten minutes”, I said I had called 30 minutes ago, she said well I’ll get them made or I can refund you. Her attitude was pretty curt. She made them quickly, not sure why it hadn’t been done 30 minutes before that but ok. I don’t think this is the same management that previously ran this establishment, they were very friendly. I understand staffing is tough currently, but the staff that was there didn’t seem to be doing anything while people stood around waiting for their food. Lastly, that sign outside the restaurant is completely unwelcoming regardless of the message you are trying to convey.

Understaffed is one thing, being unable to hand a pre made muffin to a customer at the time of their order is another.
The egg and croissant was mediocre. We waited over 30 minutes for an açaí bowl and egg sandwich as we watched people who ordered after us get their order. At the very least complete order tickets in the order they were given. No one was even apologetic.

The lady with the dreadlocks(I believe owner or manager) was swearing and yelling all over the restaurant. It’s doesn’t feel very sanitary as storage is stacked next to tables. Patio furniture is breaking and the food is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED! The sandwhich pictured was $15 dollars and does not come with a side. The açaí bowl took 25 minutes and is missing the açaí(also $15). The cold brew tasted like acid. Used to love it here but it has really gone downhill.

Understandable that they’re slightly understaffed due to the pandemic, but both individuals who took care of us did not have a pleasant tone at all. They seemed very irritated when we were ordering (an açaí bowl and small drip coffee). We were 1/3 small groups in the cafe at at the time. The most bothersome aspect was the lack of cleanliness. Crumbs on all of the counters behind the register and multiple cartons of milk and perishable goods sitting out the whole time we were there (15ish minutes). The individual who was at the register was eating while they took care of us, and picked their teeth with their nail after we had stepped away. The quiches were plastic wrapped in the fridge and looked like they had been there for quite some time.
I feel for them because of the pandemic, but their attitudes + lack of cleanliness are a real downer. At least the coffee and bowl were good!

Please read this before going here! The owner welcomes customers with a NASTY sign in-front of that store that reads something to the affect of “in a rush? Rude? Not happy? Keep walking we dont want you business.” The entire staff working here is no older than 14 years old & I am not exaggerating when I say the ENTIRE staff. There is not 1 adult working there to serve. My order/food was made wrong for both items. I was given a warm smoothie in the dead heat of summer because they told me they forgot to put ice in the blender and did not offer to fix it. This place is also over priced and just a waste of a visit. If you are looking for food.. take my advice.. GO ANYWHERE ELSE, I promise you’ll thank me later
