Walk in around 7 and we were seated immediately. Drinks were good but everything else was either terrible or made us sick! The poke bowl special had so much cilantro my husband couldn't eat it. I ate it but all I could taste was cilantro. They really should list cilantro as an ingredient on the menu. Who puts cilantro in a poke bowl? We also had the conch fritters which made us both sick. My husband had the tuna entree and he couldn't eat it cause it also had cilantro. I had to get up to find the manager to send the dish back. The Manger offered no apology and instead tried to ask my husband to salvage the tuna on the plate after we just finished telling her he couldn't eat cilantro. I finished my snapper which was fine but my meal was ruined by the service. This place has really gone down hill. I do not recommend .

As someone who’s worked in 5 star fine-dining for years, I like to think I can recognize and appreciate a good server when I meet one. But on the same token, I also have even more disrespect for a bad one. In all my years of dining out, never have I EVER experienced worse service than what Chris provided. He could not have been more rude from the moment we were seated, we never saw him between taking our order and dropping off our check. He never once checked on us while enjoying our appetizers, nor entrees. As he was about to grab our check, again without saying a word to us, I stopped him and addressed his attitude, asking if we’d done something to warrant his less than satisfactory service. At that point, instead of recognizing he was in the wrong, or simply apologizing even if he didn’t believe he was, he told me “I worked at a steakhouse in Chicago for 2 years. Top in the country”, though I’m still confused how this was pertinent information to me, and added on more snarky, sarcastic, downright rude commentary, finishing off with “cheers!” As he snatched the checkbook out of my hand and stormed off. I’m assuming there’s a reason that job in Chicago didn’t last more than 2 years and I’d be appalled if I ever return to this restaurant and see him still there. An absolute shame considering how good this restaurant’s food is and how pleasant all the other staff are. I believe with everything in me, there is a special place in hell for people like Chris.

Dinner was amazing! Wife and I sat inside next to bar and initially we were disappointed we couldn't sit on their porch which obviously had been booked. Ended up that sitting inside was awesome. Mojito was spot on. Cream of crab soup with bread and fried green tomatoes got us going. I had Maryland rockfish with a smokey tomato broth and veggie succotach. She had a tomato based eggplant dish that she loved.. I was completely enamored with the service and food. Place is quant, eclectic and a foodie haven. If you get the chance, do make a reservation and enjoy a really nice place for a tasty dinner in a really cool atmosphere. Didn't have room for dessert. I'll be back!

How have I never been here before? We took a chance so glad we did. Our food was fantastic. Wedge salad was to die for. Catfish special was beyond our expectation. Conch fritters perfectly cooked crunchy on outside perfect texture inside. Next time I'm having the mussels and the steak or lamb. They have patio seating which was nice definitely airflow even though covered. Staff does not mask just as an FYI. Indoor seating as well. Service was just ok, We shared a meal the server did not give us an extra plate or check that we had silverware after the apps, but food made up for it.! This could have been more of a function of not enough staff. And he was super nice this was not a game changer for us. Please give them a try if you have not been they are really fantastic and the hostess was awesome as well. Friendly inviting and helpful! We just went and are thinking of already going back they are that good.
