Best bakery experience! I called a couple places asking for quotes and was immediately impressed when Amy called and took me through this long list of questions. She wanted to be sure everything was understood and I appreciate that. When I picked up the cake, there was a little discrepancy between the nakedness of the photo and cake, but she was able to coordinate with staff to get it perfected within a few hours that worked for me, and the cake went over amazing at the party. What I really loved was how attentive everyone was, from placing the order, to paying for then picking up the cake. It was a great experience and one I'd be happy to go back to again!

Best croissants in all of ATX hands down, like not even remotely close. These are incredible. Hours are a bit tough but their 1st street location is open on the weekend and quality is just as good (plus has a great patio to sit at). Highly recommend the pecan glaze croissant, it has a glaze on it that makes it a special kind of croissant-umami-buttery-deliciousness I can’t even describe.

We went by to grab some treats for my birthday and we left with tons of delicious treats. They’re known for their tres leches cakes which were very good. I’m not a connoisseur on all things tres leches, but I thought it was great. We also left with some delicious cookies (nice and large for sharing) , savory empanadas, flaky croissant and other baked goodies, and some amazing biscuits! This was my first time going and we liked it so much we ordered a German chocolate cake for my birthday at their South 1st location that was phenomenal. We will definitely be going here on the regular. The staff was so amazing and kind. SO GOOD.

If you’re a tourist, WoM is a bit off the beaten path, but worth seeking out, one of the reasons being bakeries are rare in Downtown Austin. They have a very decent selection and are nice to warm your baked goods up if you request that. I had the almond croissant and a salted, chocolate chip cookie. They were both very decent and croissant was big enough to cover breakfast and lunch. I actually liked the cookie better: it had a great salt and chocolate balance combined with a chewy, melted-chocolate chunk, consistency. The ladies recommended the gluten-free brownies but I didn’t make it back to try them. I might add, it’s a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

We ordered a custom cake for our daughter's birthday a couple months ago, and they were very easy to work with. They adjusted the design to fit our budget, and it turned out adorable and was delicious!

The fact that they donated to Texas French Bread to reopen! Warms my heart! Definitely will keep my patronage. Love local small businesses supporting other local small businesses! 💕💕
